Neano chapter 5 . 11/20/2018 This is the first time I’ve ever read anything like this. You’ve really given a lot of thought to the relationship between the colonel and Lee through the years. Very well done. Very enjoyable. |
Guest chapter 1 . 3/12/2018 First, I love this Major Clayton! So pleased that he stood behind Lee's refusal, knowing something was amiss and came up with a brilliant, loving solution. Excellent choice, Lee, the harp is my favorite musical instrument. That stubborn, every child must be identical, teacher ... good grief, what alien planet did she come from? |
Truckee Gal chapter 5 . 3/13/2018 Lee's turn for diaper duty, is it? Well, what goes around, comes around! It's great for poetic license and a nice thought, but fair-skinned babies are born with pale blue-gray eyes that change over their first year to be blue, green, hazel, gray or brown. Relieved Amanda is recovering and everyone's excited! This was an inspired series, which I liked very much. |
Truckee Gal chapter 4 . 3/12/2018 Though Lee was quite inventive, throwing his own private birthday party, I liked that Clayton chased Lee down, read him the riot act about sex and talked about actions have consequences. |
Truckee Gal chapter 3 . 3/12/2018 That's a beautiful Thanksgiving tradition. Lee already knows his calling, but it will be decades before he confronts and avenges his parents. |
Truckee Gal chapter 2 . 3/12/2018 Lee doesn't just charm females. Not sure Major Clayton did right by requesting a transfer, tearing Lee away from friends and what has become familiar to him. |
Truckee Gal chapter 1 . 3/12/2018 OOPS! The Guest review for Mother's Day 1958 is Truckee Gal, who forgot to log in before reviewing. |
Sarai chapter 5 . 7/29/2017 awww |
Guest chapter 5 . 7/22/2017 Great story. Thanks. |
Guest chapter 5 . 7/6/2017 This is an amazing journey you shared with us! I loved all the chapters from the first Mother's Day ,fast forwarding to Lee having his daughter. I love seeing the interaction that Lee and his uncle had through Lees life. Thank you for letting us read this. |
Kathryn Lee Duncan chapter 5 . 6/25/2017 Hi Lainie. Just read your Diaper Duty series and it brought me to tears in almost every chapter. So beautifully done! Nice to see Col. Clayton wasn't forgotten. Thank you! |
Ralx34 chapter 5 . 6/22/2017 great heart to heart conversation ! |
Ralx34 chapter 4 . 6/22/2017 I like the way you describe his uncle, I don't think he was this heartless man many writers depict Of course from Lee's perspective he was this man who was always against him, but that's the way many teenagers see their own parents And I have a saying that says something like that : you can be really good to someone all your life and one day do something he won't like, he'll only remember the only thing "bad" I think Lee only remembers bad moments with his uncle |
Chrissie-Charlotte1981 chapter 5 . 6/22/2017 Wonderful and perfect ending for this series of Diaper Duties. |
TubTub56 chapter 5 . 6/19/2017 Love it! Especially the last comment from Lee's uncle! Terrific job, you keep my favorite family alive for all of us! |
