First, I love this Major Clayton! So pleased that he stood behind Lee's refusal, knowing something was amiss and came up with a brilliant, loving solution. Excellent choice, Lee, the harp is my favorite musical instrument. That stubborn, every child must be identical, teacher ... good grief, what alien planet did she come from?

Lee's turn for diaper duty, is it? Well, what goes around, comes around! It's great for poetic license and a nice thought, but fair-skinned babies are born with pale blue-gray eyes that change over their first year to be blue, green, hazel, gray or brown. Relieved Amanda is recovering and everyone's excited! This was an inspired series, which I liked very much.

Though Lee was quite inventive, throwing his own private birthday party, I liked that Clayton chased Lee down, read him the riot act about sex and talked about actions have consequences.

That's a beautiful Thanksgiving tradition. Lee already knows his calling, but it will be decades before he confronts and avenges his parents.

Lee doesn't just charm females. Not sure Major Clayton did right by requesting a transfer, tearing Lee away from friends and what has become familiar to him.

I like the way you describe his uncle, I don't think he was this heartless man many writers depict
Of course from Lee's perspective he was this man who was always against him, but that's the way many teenagers see their own parents
And I have a saying that says something like that : you can be really good to someone all your life and one day do something he won't like, he'll only remember the only thing "bad"
I think Lee only remembers bad moments with his uncle
