Thank you for this adventure. It was a long fun read for me and even though the story is not complete yet, this is an ending I can accept until you write out the rest. No pressure, of course. What matters is that you still enjoy writing this story.

I re-read this story and definitely wasn’t disappointed at all! This last chapter was so far my favorite! Especially the last part wheee Hinata confesses she loves him and he without hesitation admits it as well! Keep writing please!

I have been reading the build up to this point for this fic for about a week. Thank you so much for this fic...I know there's more to come and I'd like to encourage the completion of this fic. It is so satisfying to read, even though there's a lot to be done still. I have no major criticisms except to say, "No Kiba, Why!" But then the answer is pretty simple after our heroine takes a real dive towards risking herself against everything she's ever known for a life that isn't. I know it's been longer than a year since your last update, so no rush, but I just killed a week of time curious about this particular fic's entire plot line, even wondering how the depth of Hinata/Sasuke's relationship will strengthen from here on out.

can i just say their confession is one of the most beautifully written pieces of literature i've ever read!? i teared up! the build up, the vulnerability, sasuke's deep sadness juxtaposed with the imagery of a lost child. his desire to go back home to a place that is in ruin is such a wonderful and beautiful parallel for his brokenness inside and the completeness he yearns for. how even in the rubble of the uchiha district hinata is there whole and pure amidst the debris; like the single violet of his dreams that grows even in adversity. GOD!

i sincerely love this story with all my heart. i love the way you write ino, she's insightful, playful, flirty, and such a good pillar for sasuke to depend on. i love their budding friendship and the way she understands and reads the situations but isn't above being a nosy gossip. she knows where she needs to draw the line and let things happen and i just appreciate her portrayal so much. the way she shifts between moods and jealousy and teasing etc. you put it perfectly several chapters ago, in sai's POV that she was good for him for her myriad of emotions and the way didn't hang on to any real anger/malice.

reading over this story again i get the chance to catch on to all the little things you write in and, and other stuff i might have glossed over... sakura and naruto straight up met this mysterious lord, didn't they! dropping that book on that rich beneficiary of the tournament, huh! he caught it like it was nothing. coincidence? i think not! i pretty much trust your attention to detail so i'm guessing the pen he left in naruto's care may...or may not... come into play later? or maybe i'm reading too much into it and it's just a regular old pen lmao. BUT I'LL KEEP MY EYES PEELED FOR IT, I SWEAR.

god, kiba is such a huge point of frustration! why is he such a bullheaded idiot! my hope for him getting some sense knocked back into him is dead. he is so easily seduced by the chance of getting stronger, he's just gonna wreck his own ass so bad, and he'll deserve it. i feel like he's the only character you took liberties with, i feel in the canon he definitely is prone to bouts of anger and rivalry but i don't think he holds on to grudges to this degree; if you think otherwise i'd love to hear your opinion! but still i understand the need to have a close point of conflict and it works really well either way. i find it ironic that all his talk of treachery and he yields so easily to it at the chance of personal gain. grrrrr.

hanabi too! she is so conditioned to be the disciplined hyuuga she let her sister eat dirt. and yet she would let the ugliness eat her up and also turn to the offer of power. it seems like hanabi is stepping into the same hands that hiashi is dealing with and i wonder how the internal hyuuga conflicts will play out. will the clan follow hiashi's alignments as a unit or will they set their footdown? already they aren't happy with hinata's expulsion, so what would it take for them to set take a stand, i wonder.

so... i'm on my 3rd reread of your fic and i guess this chapter just hit different this time and i had to review again.

the vulnerability and rawness of sasuke's feelings about how unworthy he feels, his guilt, his remorse, his darkness, and hinata's reaction to it, how accepting she is, how much she wants him to feel his sadness and share it with her. how much she understands that he needs to let it out to heal. just, god, i am squirming with feelings over here! they are so tender and sweet. the way they interact is so beautiful and innocent. their inexperience is so apparent but they're not awkward about it at all, they just let it happen and relish in every moment they share, learning from it and learning about each other. the way sasuke feels compelled to want to share every little bit about him to her because he can't stop himself whenever she asks, just! that pure surrender to her, to her smile, to the hope she offers him. it's SO heartwarming, makes me all glassy eyed!

everything is beautiful and blissful in that little corner they've carved out for themselves in konoha, whether they're in the ruins of the uchiha district or in the middle of a crowd. the way you've depicted their magnetism and their attunement to one another, the way it just grew overtime, honestly! i have no more words to describe how beautiful it is! it just is!

and i just gotta say it again, sai treating sasuke as chief freaking makes me giddy inside like no other! i love the way you've written their relationship, all professional with a bit of a teasing quality from sai's part whilst still understanding the difference in power. i hope he never stops calling sasuke chief even if it makes him grit his teeth. lol!

i really really really love this story. i think about it often and, given the opportunity, i would probably not shut up about it and to gush to someone if they let me. i recommend it to anyone asking for SH fic recs, this is honestly the best of the best. i eagerly await the newest installment, and i hope you're doing well!
