Reviews for Advice from unexpected places
Guest chapter 1 . 5/23/2017
Go, Ikki. You did your grandparents proud.
I thought it hilarious how she furrowed her eyebrows when she spoke about punks trying to claim Asami as a prize, and when she spoke to her sugar glider. Tee-hee-hee. She's so eccentric.
I read the review on the children giving advice. Reminds me of Dumbledore saying how adults tend to ignore kids... a quote he said on The Prisoner of Azkaban... saying a sad truth how grown-ups tend to ignore the child's innocence and honesty.
I think Ikki deserves a love too. She deserves one. It would be funny and sweet if she fell for a wild boy who dwelled on the wild. It would fit her. Instead of being creeped, she's charmed by how he's strong but gentle. A wild boy would fit an eccentric, plucky, gentle, jolly, and clever girl such as her. I always think it good when wild men/boys get girlfriends who're eccentric, feisty, gentle, clever, and jolly. Blame Tarzan. His girlfriend was a damsel, yet also a fighter who was jolly enough to be charmed by his simian antics and so gutsy, and also so gentle such as treating non-humans as people.

How in the HELL does this story not have a review?

It's doo doo wrong!

Anyway, this is just adorable! You wrote Ikki perfectly canon and perfect with a capital P! I love that Korra, the mighty bridge between the human and spirit worlds needed help asking Asami out.

From kid, but I like that, because people have an unfortunate tendency to underestimate, undervalue, and underappreciate the unique wisdom children possess.

Kind of reminds me of Paula Poundstone's old joke- "Do you know why adults ask children what they're going to do when they grow up? They're looking for ideas! "

You don't need me to tell you how good this is, but this is an instant classic!

You're a good ass writer! Thank you for this, and the enjoyment!
