SolarxBlack chapter 1 . 7/16
Jesus, De Sade as a counter-guardian? Madness.
Just a Fate fan chapter 1 . 6/17
Ok, last comment came out like shit (thank you past me for not paying attention). Anyway, whatever you do next, you have support. If you want to abandon the fic, do it. If you want to continue it, you may also do that. You want to keep it frozen in time? Keep doing that. The thing is, writing a good story is hard. I don't know if you lost interest or if you wrote yourself into a corner, doesn't really matter much to me. Just do whatever you like with a clear conscious. What you did until was really good, and that's what matters.
Just a Fate fan chapter 11 . 6/6
Considering the amount of effort you put into this story, it is quite comprehensible when you end up having to stop when you understand that you're seeing your own work moving forward after some point. It may be author's block. Maybe you're just not satisfied enough with your own effort in your current chapter. Whatever it is, I won't complain, nor demand anything. Can't say the same for other readers, unfortunately. Whatever it is that is making unable to write on, I wish luck to you. Oh, and more importantly: your story is so good, that I may fall in love with it, hahaha! Live strong, friend.
JDH1080 chapter 1 . 6/3
I now feel really bad for harping on this story in regards to that one chapter. Having caught up to where this story is I went to try and find another story that would have Archer or Shirou going back in time to 6th century Britain...they were sorely lacking to put it mildly. Not even half as good as this story and that is being generous. For all this story's issues of moving at a snail's crawl pace I never once felt inclined to stop reading. Truly you both have crafted something amazing here and I hold hope that it will be finished one day. This is the kind of story that one must Wade through the usual muck that is fanfiction to find. Most stories on this site are crap, many are mediocre, some are pretty good, but so few are what I would consider on the level of actual high quality. This is one of those few stories that hits that mark.
JDH1080 chapter 11 . 6/1
Okay so I hadn't been paying attention to all the authors notes, did not realize this story was the work of two people. Sorry about that, you're both doing great. This story is finally starting to ramp up. I'm really excited to see where it goes. Sadly since it's been two years since the last update I'm doubtful we'll see anything soon, if at all. Either way, despite the very slow build this story was enjoyable and I can tell that between the both you has been a labor of love and dedication. I hope you both are able to continue and look forward to the day when this might see an update.
JDH1080 chapter 8 . 5/31
Okay so I'm sure you already know about all the complaints for this chapter. I'll try not to spend too long harping about it. Because honestly this is a really well crafted story. Your writing, attention to detail, and the amount of research you put into keeping with the Arthurian legend is beyond commendable. It really is, I will always respect and praise someone who has the mettle to put that much work in something like this. Good on you si-er ma'am.

That said. Boy was this a rough chapter to Wade through. I understand that you're making sure the reader is informed with what's going on in the world of this story, and any reader who enjoys quality writing will appreciate that, but this really should have been broken up. Introducing all these characters and info dump was just too much. Most of your readers are here to see Artutia and Archer Emiya and their interactions or what they're doing. Obviously this stuff is important, and I actually rolled my eyes at some of the reviews I saw for this chapter that called it filler. This is not filler, it's necessary information, but when you load it all in at once you kind of bore you readers. I'm sorry to say at the end I was skimming because I want to see the plot move forward and see what happens to Artutia and Archer. Like someone else suggested it probably would have helped to split this into multiple chapters, with snipbits of what Archer and Artutia are doing. (Maybe her coming back to the forge for his company (because for whatever reason, he's gained her fondness. And despite her trauma (which holy shit, I've never seen a fanfic handle the delicate subject of rape so respectfully and so well, honestly amazing.) She finds comfort in Archer's forge where she doesn't have to feel weighed down and can just find solace at.) Or like someone else suggested maybe Archer walking around town, or see him interact with horses since it's been mentioned that he's really good with them. Or maybe see how more of the locals react to him. Maybe since he's been commissioned by the king personally his reputation has improved slightly? I don't know.

And honestly this whole review isn't very well structured and I apologize for that. I know it's mostly negative, but I really, really do like this story and definitely plan to continue reading it. Seeing that it hasn't been touched in over two years and that it's pretty obvious that it's nowhere close to done, fills me with some sadness, but I do hope you'll be able to see this to completion.
Bravo13 chapter 1 . 5/17
Great fic like the premise ;)
BlueSnake19 chapter 11 . 5/4
One day, this will be updated. And I earnestly look forward to that.

“But it is not this day!”

Glad you’re still ok. For real, looking forward to the eventual update.
narutodarkfan chapter 11 . 4/16
Ah crap. that was a miracle, but the chalet with Vortigern and Morgan felt like a massive info dump. would be better if it was interspersed with other chapters I suppose. hope both of you are safe and sound amidst this crisis. take care.
needless to say that I would love to see the story updated but writing stories take time and patience. hope (both of) you manage find time and inspiration for it. looking forward to what you do next
narutodarkfan chapter 11 . 4/16
This is brilliant. Thank (both of) you for this amazing fic The amount of effort (both of) you've put into even the tiniest of details elevates the quality of the fic. I love how you take time to properly characterise secondary characters and make them mesh well into the world. I'll be honest
Sitting here bored chapter 11 . 3/28
Great story, really hoping to see it continue.
uzumaki.namikaze10 chapter 11 . 3/11
Do you even check how the servant's parameter system works? D means he have a personal or a class skill that can double it or it was closer to the lower part of the rank that does not make it to B rank. B rank is 40. so his might have been 33- 34. Even faster than in the Fuyuki Grail War. And the same with D- only in reverse. His strength will be halved. Essentially E. The thing with Emiya is that no matter how he was summoned he cannot be made Weaker or Stronger with the exception of Mana Supply. And if your using the Moon Cell parameter system there are no D- or the like. Only E, D, C, B, A, A, A and so on. Please correct it or be more careful in the future. For those who are quite familiar with the FATE system it is quite confusing when the author; hypothetically, makes a servant with B strength against a A rank strength. The Plus indicates the doubling of the stats. or triple in and so on. Thank you for reading and sorry if it comes off a bit rude.
choclateman chapter 11 . 1/21
Great story but when is the next chapter coming or is the story discontinued.
bulk Locke the the grim head chapter 1 . 1/13
for the love of all that is holy please update
MysticRising chapter 11 . 12/27/2019
*sigh* this was such a good read. A part of me was screaming to saber to hook up with shirou, another was screaming at how archer lost everyone (the legendary luvia route? Huh), and again a part of me was screaming 'guinevere you bitch fall for shirou not lancelot! He treats you like an equal and respects you! Plus he's a good man who cooks cleans is kind and best of all is a HUNK!'
Seriously, a really cool fic. I think shirou/archer going back to medival Britain is one of my favorite fsn themes, except fate servant and cook. I know there is a tendency to write an OP shirou (can ya blame us) but that one did the opposite and did it's best to make shirou be so pathetic it was sad.
Speaking of I love how this archer retains so much of shirou's personality. Although, remembering his past is a bit weird seeing how he's thousands of years old and bound to forget a good deal of them.
Anyways, good fic and hope we see more in the future (although it's doubtful)
