I think I'm really going to like this story. Good writing style and it sounds like it could build up to something really interesting.

I wonder if you'll keep Ayato and Yui's personality similar/ the same as it is in the anime etc.

The use of bold for speech does actually make it easier to distinguish between the two so for now, maybe try and stick with it? Although it could become much more confusing if you start to build up the use of speech in later chapters- but for now, like I said, it seems to work well.

For a story such as this, I would make extra effort to avoid cliché's (and I know we all do them) but it is so easy to fall into- and try and keep things as realistic-ish as possible, i.e. if they're going to have a deep conversation then choose words that a real life person would actually use? Did that make sense?
