Her guilt for how she treated Taylor before they separated, the desperation to stop her, and sadness for what she's been through. All of it accumulated perfectly into that line,"Let Go Of My Friend!"

Oh my lanta yes. Yes yes and yes again. This is beautiful. The only thing that would've made this better is if we got MM's pov for a brief moment to know how torn up she actually was. And I know we get a glimpse of that later when MP shows up but I mean in the moment.

Emotional comeuppance for the win! Oh how I wish one of the Wards, Gallant or maybe Kid would've made some serious displeasure known. Talk about how do to their incompetence, they had to fight their friend. Maybe curse out Piggot Armsmaster and MM just a little, and talk about that if they weren't under contract they'd consider leaving the wards. That would've been great for more emotional payloads.

This, all of this. This is exactly the emotional response I was hoping for.
Consequence for actions, heart-ache for the innocent forced to fight their friend, the rage of a naive child turning her into a monster-making her abandon all her bonds. Its wonderful.

I can go on and on about how satisfying this is, but I'll keep it short. Miss Militia and-later-Glory Girl easily take the cake for how they feel about the whole thing. Dauntless does in a small way with just the observation of him wanting desperately to save her with how close they've gotten training together.

The PRT and Protectorate deserves everything that happens, I was upset that she lost so easily when Eidolon stepped in cause I wanted them to feel the dread of facing an enemy that wasn't an endbringer that they couldn't stop. I still wanted them to somehow win, just have it be by a near miracle. Oh well.

Really solid, this is the point where the story goes to another level imo. Good work.

I read up to the first Arcadia scene but I'm going to end it there. This is far too... Fluffy. Normally that's not the worst thing in the world, but you're crossing Dark Souls and WORM, two incredibly dark worlds. And, even disregarding Taylor's very powerful powerset, I'm getting inklings of Sue, and basically the whole wards team was mischarachterized, especially Vista. You wrote her like she's an overly friendly twelve year old, where that's completely antithetical to her character. She hates being treated like a kid and hasn't been anything less than an adult since she triggered, and she acts like it.

So no, I think I've read enough to know there isn't anything for me here.

me, 50 chapters in: oh damn this is getting deeper than i thought it would, but i dig it all the same

me, 60 chapters in: Taylor and Glory Girl, eh? i mean...

me, chapter 61: Taylor and Glory Girl. yes, that is acceptable. it is more than acceptable, it is perfect. yes, yes, perfectly perfect in every way. she's not gay you say? says who? she could go gay-gay for Tay-Tay in a second! maybe.

to conclude this review: this story is great, im a faithless shipper, and you're good at writing head-fucking pieces of soul-wrenching literature

It's always so DAMN SATISFYING to see Tommy/Coil get taken down.
