OMG have you read the hobbits or the Lord of the Ring trilogy, the are soo efeminit that this sounds manly in comparison. XD don't get me wrong, I LOVE them all, but they do come off as a bit girly. LOL

A good Thilbo story always intrigues me! Such a simple beginning, and you deprive us of details in your summary, leaving some wonder! I do enjoy that :) The conclusion of this chapter made me pity Thorin. Beautiful job building emotions, splendid work! The only thing I would mention, perhaps a little more detail and more showing, less telling. But other than that, this was great and I'll be waiting for an update soon!
