I am genuinely upset this is only two chapters long. You're insanely talented as a writer, and you seriously have a knack for nailing these two complex characters down. I wish there was a whole lot more of this to read, but I understand how it goes. Best wishes, whatever you're up to now!

Just finished the show and I'm shocked at the lack of ficus for this amazing fandom. You nailed their dialogue perfectly! I can picture them actually having this conversation and letting the give-and-take slowly easy us into their budding intimacy. My slight concern is Jack viewing her as less than whole. maybe I misread into his comment about him wanting her to be whole again, but Jack strikes me as the type to closely nurture her healing process and provide any and all protection she needs. he knows she's strong, proud even but also accepts that healing takes time. So for him to view her as less than whole comes a bit out of character. However, I do like that he wants to know more about her while trying to respect her boundaries. Either way, great first chapter and I can't wait to read more!

Omg I LOVE this! You must update ! This is exactly what I was hoping would happen in the show! There is no way someone who went through that trauma would have no ptsd, especially during sex. Unfortunatly, the show was obviously cancelled so they couldn't go into it. Thank god you are here to tell the story though! I can't explain how much I love this!
