Ah, you're doing a rewrite of this story. I was wondering why some of the chapters for this story disappeared over a short period of time. That being said I'm looking forward to reading the next chapters and also how the relationship between Shinji and Mari will develop much like in the previous iteration of this story.

First of all, this has been one hell of a ride. From chapter 1 you got me hooked, and since then I have always been looking forward to the next chapter. Dispite the plot holes and faults. And the ending genuinely caught me by surprise. Can't wait to see what you do next.

aaaaaand you jump the shark at the last minute. gotta admit I didn't see it coming, but WTF just happened? time travel? Shinji was Shaw the entire time? interesting idea, but it doesn't make sense, mostly because any leadup you gave was difficult to spot. like you said, plotholes you could drive a death star through. might want to rewrite it to get rid of those.

if you're looking for something to help you with that more than I can, I suggest you read Stephen King's "On Writing". it's a memoir that functions more as a "how-to-write for those who have potential" book than an actual memoir. there is potential here, and I don't want to see it wasted. start working on the sequel, and in a few months come back to take a second shot at this one. you'll be amazed at how much of a difference that'll make.
