Hmm, Ashton? Can't say that's common. It doesnt seem like the best choice for Ash in my opinion, but I've seen worse

Loved the series but was wondering where the sequel is? I really want to know what happens next and IV been waiting for a long time . Hope you can bring it back!

It feel weird that this first part of the story, it was nice while it lasted. But now I have something else to look forward to. Until then.

Guess I spoke too soon about Prof Oak being a guardian, that explanation actually worked very well for being realistic and not deviating too mich from the anime.

Oh Mew, only healing Serena because Ash would worry otherwise. Mew and Serena's developing interactions and relationship is one thing I am teally looking forward to in the second book.

Speaking of, is the second book going to be set at a single time with flashbacks to earlier training? Or will it start early, and skip ahead as needed? I favor the second way myself, but you know your plans for the writing and focus.

So Delia and Chatles think they have some way to break Ash? Should be interesting, although I am kind of expecting it to be harming his friends or going after Serena.

I'm still very seriously confused on who the heck she is to Ash, it sounds like she's a family member of his , at first I thought the missing father before we found out that she's a she , so now I'm thinking possibly aunt or slightly more likely to me birth mother and Ash was stolen from her and given to Delia who may or may not have had false memories implanted.
Also I was wondering why the heck Ash-Grininja wasn't facing the mega until I saw that note.

Satisfying ending to a 1/3 of the story.

I've been reading Fanfiction for a few years now. I even consider myself somewhat of a 'semi-veterans writer on here, if 2013/14 Can be classified as such. But, FINALLY I STUMBLE UPON AN AUTHOR WHO UNDERSTANDS THE IMPORTANCE OF PACING IN A BATTLE.

Far too often, I read stories that ultimately fall flat because of cookie cutter battles ALONE. They often lack detail, paced too quickly, or are ultimately given the back seat in the story. But not you.

The battle is one-sided, but it's perfectly paced. You allow the moves and altercations to flesh out, which is a rarity. Team Rocket and Ash gang give dialogue that remains relevant, letting the viewer/reader become aware of intentions not openly alluded to by the characters battling.

I've sort of wandered aimlessly throughout the Pokemon fandom since 2017 basically. And I wonder how I haven't read Ash's Realization until now. Aurora, while coming across as OP(the plot justifies this completely, has a concept that instantly persuades the reader to read further. I wondered who she was, and even though I'm still only 2 Chapters deep, I legitimately want to discover the lore within Aurora and the Horokoi Region, as well as what ties she has with Ash.

Pikachu's feelings about serious Ash were spot-on for my thoughts: he's matured, but I hope he still retains some of his hyperactive goofy quirks.

Prof Oak is also a guardian? Not quite sure how I feel about that. I almost think it would have been better to just keep him a scholarly regular human that was respected by guardians for his knowledge and research. Really, I'm worried about implications this could have for Gary, who could reasonably be expected to be a guardian now. I guess it could be used to explain why Gary suddenly stopped liking Ash, always wondering what his grandfather saw in Ash, if he learned of his own guardian powers but never was told Ash was one of the primary guardians.

I'm hoping Serena persevering through the aura portal/barrier gets mentioned by Mew when they get to the Tree, especially a reaction of some kind that relates to a trial or that future challenge to prove a worthy mate (it feels so weird using that term).
