You know what's funny? I read a story very similar to this one several days ago called Team Navia. That story was longer, and pretty much played out identical to this one. Only the characters were kind of OOC, and I didn't like how Lucy, Gray and Mirajane were written. So I was very disappointed with that story, even though there was a great idea in there. Then about 3 days ago I found your story, and saw that it was pretty much identical to that story, only shorter, with the characters written far better, and I saw that Steam Powered ended 6 months before Team Navia started. I swear, it was like a sign or something. Like the gods told me "Don't worry TDDolphin, there is a version of this story to your liking!" Go figure.

Anyway onto Steam Powered. This was really fun to read UK-824! I loved how Natsu and Juvia got along with each other as they went on their first job together, I loved they beat up those bandits, I loved how Gray was much more chill in his jealousy as he and the guild read the Sorcerer Weekly issue than the other story, I loved Gajeel being protective of Juvia in a brotherly way, I loved the fight against the Fire Kraken, I loved Juvia and Natsu going shopping together for themselves and for Lucy, I loved how Gray asked Juvia to hang out the next day (Nice tie-in to Welcome back, Froash btw), and I loved Natsu and Lucy's whole time in the epilogue. As you could probably tell I loved pretty much everything in this story!

This was a really good Natsu/Juvia friendship story UK-824! There aren't too many of those on Fanfiction so it was nice to read something different and fun. I just wish we could've seen Erza and Wendy somewhere. Ah well, you did fantastic either way :)

This was sooo cute; not only does Juvia experience love at first sight, but also besties at first fight! (That was so corny, please forgive me)
I'm really happy that "COOOL" reporter dude.. Jason? I'm glad he didn't pair the two in the magazine and people got the wrong idea, or else I might have broken my computer. It was okay that the jeweler made the slip-up, he's just an innocent old man that I want to hug for fueling my giddiness.
There are so many parts of this fic that I adored, from "Where to start? Igneel was a bastard." to "Levy noticed that she could see her breath" to "Natsu-kun [sob] is so [hick] s-so [sob] kiiiiiiinndd!" to "... Juvia's not handling this very well" to "Cana hit her face off a frozen block of beer". (Something like that, I'm bad at quoting.) I can't pick my favourite and I'm squealing because I'm thinking of so many more scenes.
Thanks to this little masterpiece, I ship Brotp!Navia just as much as Brotp!Gajuvia, and I have you to worship for it.
Immediately favouriting this and keeping it forever. Nalu epilogue hitting me right in the feels at the moment. Excuse while I reread this heavenly gift granted upon us unworthy readers. Love you!

Ahhh the suspense! But I'm glad you ended it there. You're an incredible writer. I stuck with this through the entire thing. It got better as it went. I hope you make another Fairy Tail Story. Was a fun, and different(first Natsu and Juvia story I've read and I liked it) sad it's over though

This was a really good story, I've stuck with it since the beginning and was surprised to see new chapters yesterday and today. But man oh man! Nalus next! I can't be the only one that loves that ship more than Gray likes stripping right! Lol sorry went rambling there. Anyway I Reaaallly loved the story and would love to see more like it from you. Ooh, this was so good! I really can't wait to see what happens next! I hope the next chapter comes soon. I'm loving how you capture the friendship between Natsu and Juvia. Honestly, these two dorks would be awesome friends and I really hope Mashima-sensei puts some Gajuvia and Navia brOTP soon. Both of these brOTPs are just so awesome and I hope we get to see them as canon soon. But whatever.
