You are the Queen of angst but I love my Pipes even when she's not herself.
Prison did a number on her as much as it did to Alex, SoSo or Poussey but instead of becoming paranoid, suicidal or alcoholic, Piper got addicted to power. It's her way of making it through her sentence especially since she doesn't have her old life waiting for her anymore.
Piper got lost in the fishbowl. :(

I don't even know how to start thanking you for this. I've been reading your thoughts on Tumblr and because of you, last friday I felt I wasn't alone. It was very difficult to deal with all the season and mainly, with Piper's character development.
That's why is a relief reading from you, as always, btw.

About this fic, I believe it's a very interesting way to fix things, even though it hurts to see Alex wounded. Maybe it is not good of me, but I really wanted to see Piper getting through a hard time, through some pain as I feel she owes Alex this. She needed this to clean herself, I think.
Piper hurting herself reminded me of Sharp Objetcs by Gillian Flynn in some ways, have you read it? Your writing made the whole thing feel so deep, right and believable. I love how you take it so seriously, you're committed and I love it.
