I'm just so relieved he pulled through. I can relate to the crankiness and frustration post surgery. but Cora is such a darling through all this. if she wasn't I don't think neither she nor Robert could make it.

oh that awful timing when Cora arrives to see all 3 in her room. I really felt for her there. it wasn't right. Mary was also being such a brat about it. Cora had every right to be upset. I'm glad you wrote about this and Robert being such a dear.

Robert is the most sensitive husband to Cora's needs, despite times when his English upbringing can
mask this trait; and his public persona often confuses the onlooker... .But, always it's present with
Cora in the intimacy of their private spaces! I absolutely adore how he can give simple, comforting verbal expressions to Cora; as he similarly does to his adult children, or grands too-Yet!-have it not
be condescending to her- as she embraces the LOVING TENOR of the: kind, Caring, and Romantic husband that's is genuinely on display when either of them need comforting, or just each others'
presence!

I find the question of age & birthdays of Downton characters puzzling sometime for our dear fan fiction writers. But they do state some characters on the show, It is announced on the show certain information about various ones. Cora is 44 in 1912 when the show opens, Robert is 46. They have
been married 24 years -1888) Mary is 21 -Edith is 20- born in 1892-on series 6 she tells her new
editor that they are born in the same year!. Mary was born in 1890-Sybil 1896. She was 24 years old when she died. when the show ends, Cora is 57- Robert is 59-closer to came to London season when she was 20.(1888) Married Robert at the end of 1888-24 years in 1912. They have
been married 37 years when the show ends in 1925.. You do well in basing Cora's age from 1868-Robert from 1864.
