Muy bello fic y muy original también. Es el primero que leo con esta idea de que los Uchiha y los Senju jamás hicieron las paces, me pareció un tema interesante de tratar. Si bien lo lógico sería que fuera el heredero quien fuera comprometido, tiene mucho sentido que manden a Sasuke y no a Itachi, y me gustó que fuera algo que atormentara a Sasuke durante muchos años hasta que, madurando, comprendiera por qué lo habían hecho. Creo que eso fue muy IC de Sasuke, es algo que le molesta hasta en el canon, esa preferencia que parecen tener por Itachi, y me ha gustado que lo conservaras aquí. Me gustó que fuera del punto de vista de Sasuke, eso le da otro aire a toda la situación y ha sido tan IC de su parte todo que fue una lectura muy grata, has sabido conservar la esencia de Sasuke incluso en otro universo.

También me encantó la representación de Sakura, creo que es todo lo que podría haber sido si Kishimoto se preocupara más de sus personajes femeninos. Me agradó muchísimo que Sasuke no confiara en ella al principio, pero fuera imposible para él negar que la admiraba (aunque no lo fuera a admitir en voz alta jajaja), porque era una persona importante y magnífica también. Me gustó que Sakura estuviera siempre ocupada, que mencionaras que iba a reuniones y misiones, porque al fin y al cabo es la heredera del clan Senju; no la redujiste solamente a "la prometida de Sasuke", lo cual me gustó mucho. Su evolución como pareja se me hizo muy natural y maravillosa de leer, si bien ninguno de los dos se ama al principio, ambos son buenas personas y es inevitable que, al menos, se caigan bien después de un tiempo.

Me gustó la mención de Hinata en la historia, creo que en otro mundo ella y Sasuke podrían haber tenido una especie de amistad dado lo similares que habían sido sus pasados. También me agradó que Sakura no se mostrara celosa después de ver que conversaba con Hinata, sino más bien impotente de no entender a Sasuke. Fue genial ver cómo iba cambiando su relación y se hacían más cercanos cada vez, todo desde los ojos de Sasuke, y me encantó lo determinado que estaba a ser un buen padre. Teniendo en cuenta cómo era Fugaku con Sasuke, es evidente que Sasuke querría algo diferente para su hija, algo que no involucrara la guerra.

Me encantó la escena final. Es maravilloso saber que Sasuke encontró la paz finalmente, con la libertad de poder decirle a Sakura que la ama, con poco tiempo de vida pero feliz con todos los años que había podido tener, con la gran familia que habían formado y la paz que habían traído al mundo con su unión. Amé particularmente el último párrafo, con Sasuke pensando en el pasado y futuro, y esa sensación de ternura con que quedas de que todo ha salido bien en la vida de Sasuke y Sakura. Me gustó mucho.

this hurt me, do bitterly sweet

I have read this story many times and even though it is a few years old now, it still manages to tug at my heart. You capture Sasuke’s personality beautifully - the lonely boy looking for love which he feels he has lost. I am sure I will come back and read this again in the future and I really cannot give greater praise than that.

oh Author, I LOVE warring states era SAsuSaku and the perspective you used on this piece (from SAsuke's POV as a son who feels abandoned) was so fresh and different... yet so HIM. I try to emulate authors like you in my own attempts at writing, but it's so hard - this story painted visuals in my head, everything was so richly detailed and i found myself thinking about the scenes you weaved into the story long after I finished it. This was sensational. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this with us!

This was so good. I’m also kinda curious about this story from Sakuras perspective. I wonder how she fell in love with him and how she felt when he told her he loved her for the first time

This story is one of the best sasusaku stories ive read yet. A unique and original twist of Naruto, but there are some parts in here that needs to be lengthened and your transitioning to scene from scene are too abrupt. If you're still writing sasusaku fanfiction, would you ever consider a shota Sasuke and teen Sakura one?
