but ENJOY Rin having to give herself up as a name to be targeted? so they dont commit ritual sucide to give the earth village the apearence they put up a fight against the Leaf ninja? while marring them in some way.

Is Obito even alive or not? I'm pretty confused, but it's likely because I'm hoping he's alive and the way the story describes souls is simply very different from the straight forward way they're normally described as.

But Jiraiya! How lovely Senju bastard makes sense! While personally I’m of the opinion Tsunade should be Hashirama daughter and Jiryia possibly Tobirama one time bastard thing... well it works.

Course I still hope Obito is doing his Zetsu bijju tied thing. That’s a Huge risk coming up if your playing with mythology because the BIJU exist in this story and are the main Roots for everyone.

Cause this mention of the spirit Obito is in its own way Obito in canon DID do that... he was just resurrected later... course why only fuck with the body when you have a spirit to weaken as well? Hmmm.
Obito does have semi Demi status with alterations so normal rules not apply?

This is truly a gem of a story.

Rin is someone who truly deserves more fic centered on her and this is my favorite of those I've found. Her character development is excellent. I like the apprenticeship under Jiraiya - unique, and the comparison between the two of them is fascinating. I don't know precisely what sort of shinobi she'll become but she expressed interest in senjustsu, so I hope she does explore that. Jiraiya could also teach her about seals and his spy nextwork, so she could end up with some pretty interesting skills when combined with her previous training in medical ninjustsu.

I also really like all the head canons you've thrown into this regarding clans and bloodlines. Very reasonable.

The ending of this chapter pulled at my heartstrings. You get across the emotion of the characters without overdoing it.

I admire Rin's desire to do the right thing when it came to helping the settlers with their "bandit" problem. Jiraiya's guidance had me chuckling. And quite the surprise at the end of this one!

It bothers me that this story doesn't garner as much attention as it should. Its beautifully written, and the worldbuilding is great. Excellent job, dear author!

As for the plot, I'm genuinely curious about Rin's future abilities. I can't help but wonder if Jiraiya will try teaching her the Rasengan. And onto Obito, where is he? Will he make an appearance as Tobi, Madara, or just Obito? Is he dead? i sure hope not.
