Hamuko was gotdamn amazing in the last couple of chapters. She really took the spotlight as the protagonist and kicked major ass all alone.

aaaaaaaaaaahhhh stupid site butchered my full review! DX i wrote a huge paragraph describing my love for minato and how awesome he is and it was cut! i feel so mad rn! no matter... i'll do it again I LOVE MINATO! he terrified me and legit scared me but screw that, i love him and i would have hugged him. death would have been worth it!

hamuko... wow... you were right she is far stronger than the one in BL. Her arc started a bit late but man when it did. poor girl, she went through so much shit as well, I'd say as much shit as minato. i imagine the battle against minato must have been heartbreaking for her, she was fresh off a break up and had to fight and deal with the monster that is minato. i totally loved that long battle that they had, started from the dorm and finally ended in the sea of the soul. bravo to hamuko, she was so brave and relentless, even against someone like minato, even against nyar she kept going and going and finally ended up being a messiah. i have to say, the torture she went through in the last few chapters was insane. after minato getting inside her (XD) she faced utter hell. her breakdown where she begs his shadow not to hurt her was so painful. the hate you showed between the two wild card was great, there was a legit hatred that you touched upon, every interaction was intense but at the same time... i have to say their bond was something special. it made me smile that at the end, minato was the only one for her whilst all the other left her. she was right, minato was the only one who helped her and i screamed in joy and jumped off my bed when he came in and saved her from getting raped. that moment was perfect, it finally gave a little bit of salvation that the two so badly needed. the fusion idea was genius, made me grin when the two finally bonded and hamuko came out of that cylcone, just imagining the whole thing was so amazing. hamuko was really the protag of the fic like you said, at the end, even with everything against her she kept going and going sorta like how minato kept going despite the cycles. her being minato's messiah was a real shocker and i can't imagine the terror of minato when he heard that. i loved hamuko here, this is the first fic i've seen where she saves minato more than he saves her. you told me heroes had to suffer and she did, she bled buckets but saved the world at the end, at the cost of her sanity. the second last chapter was so surreal, i always wanted the two to talk with nothing bothering them and they did. i did come up with my own version/interpretation, minato finally grew to respect and care for her, that hug was real and he told her to stay strong because he knew what was going to happen next. (That is why he was so angry with sees) it was sad and confusing but it finally tied everything together and finally, minato gave her a hug and praised her.
what else can i say? this fic was amazing, by far my favorite and i am so glad that i ended up finishing it. i complain about bl being tough but this was another level of suffocation and i can't imagine the level of exhaustion these two went through. i loved minato as an antagonist, he was great, godly and ruthless, exactly how they should be and hamuko, she grew a lot, she had flaws, she crumbled so many, what she went through was terrible but i'm glad she won. the final battle she fought against nyar was so amazing. i loved the ending sequence when she summoned 500 personas, launched the blade for nyar and charged for the finale with minato behind her. i loved that she buried him, finally a real moment between these two. i wish, i wish these two would have gotten together, even in an alt reality. they are made for each other and not even the bl bond comes close to what they displayed here. amazing, you did an amazing job with these two, their relationship, their battle and the final resolution.
that manga is amazing and i thank the author, i'd love to see more cause minato looks hot as hell X3 i wish you could postpone retirement and write the next chapter of this amazing fic. i feel like i have a hole in my heart because this really took a lot out of me. made me cry so much with this, all the misery and heartache that this fic has. again, amazing job, i knew you were an amazing author but this was some next level type stuff. i loved every single chapter and even though this was my fav ship, you made me read on and on even when the battle was going on. i love minato and hamuko, there were a lot of great characters here, tatsuya, maya, elizabeth, igor (oh god, he considered minato his child, that was so painful) even nyar but those two were special. at the end, they were the only ones left for each other, a broken fallen messiah and a 17 year old girl ended up saving the world/universe from a supreme god. beautiful, just beautiful.
i love you for writing this and i'll pray that someday i'll see a new fic, i want to see these two free themselves and finally die in peace because they have suffered too much.
this was... better than bl... yes, that fic is amazing, with my otp but this was something different. no fic will come close to this because you flipped p3 over and made it a masterpiece with a tragic starting (minato's fall from grace) and a heartbreaking end (hamuko's fall from grace) it really came full circle and minato was right, messiahs are bound to suffer.
this... got too long XD i wanted to say so much more but i'll just say thank you, thank you for writing this fic. i'm glad i got over myself and read this, i'll lose a lot of sleep and it'll take time to heal but thank you. this is the greatest fic ever. Minato, you're the hottest guy ever, you terrified me and abused my favorite characters but i love you. Hamuko, you are amazing and finally, i saw you doing what you were meant to do, save people and kick ass. i am glad you gave hamuko the spotlight, where in the end she was the last survivor and persona user. our hamu-tan finally got the story she deserved, the character that she so badly needed, a badass messiah.

Well, congrats on finishing it, seriously it's no small feat and you did a great job with the fic overall. Ending could've been better, but could be a lot worse too, and that sequel hook makes it hard to give a definite judgement (HA!) on it. Just a small observation, you might want to tone down on the spoilers of P5 in that segment of the Velvet Room, it's kinda of the major twist of the game after all and some people might not have played it yet...
