I love how Archer turns everything into a philosophical argument of how Shirou is fundamentally wrong.

Love how in-character Saber, Rin and Archer is here, and I actually enjoy your Shirou more than I did while watching the anime adaptations. But I absolutely ADORE Archer in this fic. His attitude, though at times quite sulky, is really hard not to love. His relationship with Rin has some cute moments in this fic as well. I hope you continue this with future chapters! You’ve really inspired me to continue writing my own F/SN fanfic! I was wondering, would you consider becoming my beta-reader? I’ve been looking for one and you seem like a lovely writer.

ah! the legendary EMIYA sarcasm in action, now don’t be harsh and transform this presumed one-shot to multi chapters?

This is actually a story I feel could use a follow-up. Shirou is someone who cannot refuse to give his consent, and it would be nice if someone stated that explicitly. Because in that situation, their 'yes' is worthless - they literally don't have a 'no' button. In a relationship (romantic or otherwise), that offers way too much potential for trust abuse - the novel 'Ella Enchanted' offers a good example of how far this can go, except Shirou will obey even if it comes with a 'please' or as a question, rather than limiting it to orders - and I feel people do not explore how badly that can be abused.

In a romantic relationship, if someone is incapable of saying no to a request for a kiss, or more than that… That's a nightmare in the making. You could force someone into something they weren't ready for without either of you realizing that something didn't quite feel right. That's like getting consent from someone who's drugged, or unconscious.

If someone besides Archer could look at the data and realize that, and get other people to listen to him about it… Because Shirou's behavior, and his irrationality when someone calls him on it, definitely matches signs of 'addict' behavior, when someone is unable to quit.

I kind of wish you'd taken that point of the story farther. It's good to realize that Archer *wasn't* just being rude and antagonistic from the start, but using such behavior to help cover his own weaknesses. But it would be nice if someone then decided to reexamine his worries as legitimate, and call Shirou out on it.

I enjoyed this, it was very nice.

I enjoyed how unlike normal Shirou didn't start disliking EMIYA until he went out of his way to be disliked.

I also enjoyed seeing EMIYA follow him around at times and want him to defend himself

I enjoyed the talk with Saber as well along with the repeated mentions of how dramatic EMIYA loves to act.

Rin was a bit immature throughout the story but considering she's only a 16 year old it's not a big surprise, it was interesting to see her talk to EMIYA about Shirou.
