Beautiful! It sounds something like one of my ROTG fics. Wounds That Never Healed I think is what I called it.

This was interesting, I don't think I've read something like this before. I really like the back and forth argument with instinct, and I love how powerful it is when characters and people alike can overcome that. This was really sweet and fun to read, thank you for posting :)
