angelladyspring chapter 2 . 9/24/2017
I'll be honest, your story certainly doesn't feel like the Host at all. That is not meant in a bad way and I'll try explaining.
The Host is a simplistic story, with just as about depth to be not as superficial as Twilight. Characters, while lovely are two-dimensional with few exceptions.
Your story is more complex and adds a lot more depth, your writing style is more detailed and

your characters feel three-dimensional.

This is really well written. Wanda's answers feel so... canon.

I hate to say it but Wanda's a traitor.
MagicalMegan chapter 2 . 5/2/2016
I'm really impressed with this - I feel like your knowledge of the other worlds really shows through in the way Wanda answers the questions. The questions asked were thoughtful and the answers certainly feel very canon. I might have a hard time forgetting this next time I read The Host! :) Great job

I'm not gonna lie, I cried like a baby at the third chapter. I love this! One of the most in refreshing parts of the book is the other worlds and I just love the way you've expanded them here!

Zanstel chapter 1 . 7/12/2015
I think that the names of the Souls for the World changes from the World that name the other.

For example, Dolphin, Mist, Spiders... all are references from human perspective of the other worlds. It is reasonable that some names are only used on certain "from one World to name other" perspective.

There are some clues on the book about fascinating features of Earth to the Souls. Resistance is one, as you said. Other is war. Earth, the planet of the wars, although this "feature" disappear with the Souls arriving. Another is sense and emotions abundance. The "emotions world" was a good name.
