I... I don't even know where to start; this was simply amazing. I loved it. I loved the OCs, I loved the interractions the canon characters had with each other and the OCs.

Ansei's amazing. Honestly, half through the story I was afraid you'd kill him off, especially when I saw the name of chapter 28. I did realize pretty fast that it was referring to Akuryo, who was interesting too, but still. I'm so glad Ansei got a happy ending (and Akuryo too in a way.) It was happier than I expected him to have at any point, especially since the genre here is tragedy.
I also listened the song that you said was his theme song. I get why you chose it as it fits, though it took some time to grow on me. Oh and on the version I found in youtube, the first comment says "Everyone is talking about someone close they've lost but the only person I've lost is myself", which I think matches well with Ansei, too. But you know, while reading this, I was listening to an English version of the Boku no Hero Academia opening called "Polaris" and I couldn't help but think that it was like Boruto and Ansei's song, something Boruto would sing to Ansei.

About Ningyo, I really loved him, too. Kinda wished we would've gotten to know him more as well, including how he came out of hiding during the time skip... how about a spin off story about him? *nudge nudge*

One thing that ended up bothering me is what happened to Neji's daughter (was her name Ansho?) How did the coup affect her life? And you also just wrote Taiyaki (was that the name?) out of the story real quick. Would've been nice to know him better, too.

I was also wondering how different this story would be if you'd written it when there was as much anime out as now. Mainly how different Mitsuki would've been. Would Ansei have survived meeting him? I think I don't wanna know. :D

In any case, despite a few loose ends with the OCs (and Himawari; she was in the other world too yet it kinda felt like you forgot her in the last chapters), this was brilliantly written and the ending wasn't predictable; you had me holding my breath about Ansei's fate even during the last chapter. I hope you'll write a sequel for this some day.

*sigh* seriously? This fanfic is just pure shit... Nearly 98 percent of the time boruto is always involving himself in problems that have absolutely nothing to do with him honestly naruto should just seal off his chakra and cut his losses at this point considering boruto will just try to get himself kill agaaaaain honestly it's like he is suicidal
