This was great until the slap by Yang. I can never enjoy a story with it. Jaune up till now seemed a logical, order and authority driven person and he accepts a slap to the face? I know you're trying to show character progression, but I didnt foresee or want that progression to be "poor little boy who accepts physical abuse". Yang may be frustrated, but to be furious when he is being truthful and honest? And to use violence before words in trying to get a friend?
I will say the only reason I'm annoyed is because your writing is so good I'm invested in the story lol.

Interesting choice to make his semblance something everyone can do already...

That was a fun intro chapter. Jaune feels like a well oiled aristocrat and I love it.

Whem are You going to update

The dialogue between characters specifically Jaune and Yang seems to be so forced. So unnatural. The characters dont feel like characters that are going through this situation naturally, but sock puppets that the author is waving around willy nilly.

You should change it that he he hasn't unlocked his semblance yet he, instead has discovered oura techniques as such. But MAYBE he thinks its his semblance...? Just a thought.

if you dont mind me asking how do you pronounce their team names?

Jaune has a large aura. Gee, you gave him a semblance at the start but you nerfed his aura anyway. And its redundant with aura too, with aura being a defensive mechanism too(and it seems that canon aura is way more efficient than his semblance)

For once, jaune isn't the one being blackmailed!
