It took me so long to find this fanfic, but it certainly was worth it.
I remember when I first read this story. I always read it constantly. Over and over.
I'm not sure if you know how much your writing effects others - you're truly amazing, you know that? I envy you in every way. You're able to describe these emotions so clearly and reading this story makes me feel so giddy - you portray the characters in such a unique way. It's beautiful really. It doesn't seem out of character in any way at all.

I loved your other work with the soldier game trio, and the "Buy Your Love" story. Your ideas are simply captivating. I'm not writing to bother you about an update. I'm just here to applaud you. I'll never be as good as you - but I look up to you so much. If you never update this story again - I'm fine.

When I first got into Love Live, I didn't know what was going to happen. When I first read BYL, I immediately fell in love.

I am fucking serious, this is the story that has made me done the most reflections on my self and my life ever. This is the most touching one ever, and a lot of the characters are so fucking relatable and you just can't help but... FEEL for them. Holy shit. You're an amazing author. I know it's probably hopeless, but I really, really hope and wish you continue this. This story made me reflect so much on people's choices and actions in the world, the pathetic state the world is in, and myself. While at the same time making me feel sad about the things happening in the world right now, it also made me reflect deeply on the hope that it changes. This doesn't feel like just another love live fanfiction. It feels like a completely new story you crafted on your own. You and this story are amazing. Maybe you can't continue it anymore because of certain reasons; if so then no pressure. I just wanna tell you how amazing this is, oh my god. Definitely up there as one of the best stories I've ever read, since I am never able to decide on just one best, but this story has touched me so much.

I NEED AN ANOTHER CHAPTER!

I really enjoy reading this story. I have a lot to say about it, so this review will be quite long, just as a heads up.

There's a lot of different dynamics happening in this story that makes it interesting to read about and to try to infer about from Nozomi's perspective. I also like that even when the perspective shifts to the Iron Three (who are the most reserved about themselves and the most mysterious) I still have to try and infer why they do certain things because they all act in such a way that is understandable to them, but not necessarily to the reader. Which is not necessarily a bad thing because it shows me how much has been established between the three.

In considering the setting, I find that it feels quite established in that you have the bueacractic, wealth, and power triangle. Nico's explanation in the first/second chapter was quite interesting to see how everything worked in this AU. It's makes for an interesting setting that immensely affects everyone attending Otonokizaka. And seeing how everyone had dealt with this system was interesting to see since everyone dealt with it in their own ways. For instance, Maki played the piano to express her frustrations, Eli with her medication, and Umi being empty to protect her emotions.

Moving on to the characters, I think this is probably my favorite aspect of this story. I felt that you adapted everyone's personalities from the canon to this setting really well. They all stayed consistent within the story in terms of actions, the way they speak, and even they way they act. For example, seeing Nozomi all shy and nervous was quite different to see from the canon, but after a while of reading, I also gotten accustomed to the way Nozomi tries to deal with people at Otonokizaka because of how consistent you've written for Nozomi and that she is a new student after all.

Not only that, but seeing Nozomi change was great character development for her. Seeing that whenever she helped certain people, she would feel hurt herself when the problem didn't become solved immediately. It was also nice to see Nozomi step away from (almost) everything and would rather just leave the problems to protect herself mentally. But in the latest chapter, I also liked that she still felt compelled to stay with Eli even though Nozomi declared she would stop caring about Eli. I would like to think that Nozomi had a slight change of heart because she saw how broken and perhaps lonely Eli was, considering Eli was terrified that Nozomi was going to leave. That scene was quite dramatic and I could really feel the tension between Nozmi and Eli as they both fought their fears.

Another thing I really liked was the flow and descriptions of the story. I felt quite immersed in the story and I could easily imagine how everyone looked and acted around each other. I especially liked the way you described how described Umi at one point being emotionless to the point it was like interact with a robot when Umi was on her "date". It made me feel sad that Umi had to detach her emotion completely to deal with the game she was playing.

I also liked how everyone speaks. Nozomi's timid way of speaking around the beginning of the story fits with how she thought about herself and how she felt at the moment. Like that confrontation Nozomi had with Eli at their lockers, I liked how she felt like she just wanted to leave the situation in any way possible considering Eli was terrifying her.

Lastly, I only remember one thing that kind of annoyed me throughout the story. It's that you spelled Nozomi's last name as "Tojo" instead of "Toujou". It's not that big of a deal, but reading 'Tojo' makes me think of different pronounciation in my head which I usually have to correct and slightly breaks my focus from the story.

But overall, it's a great story and feels quite realistic in this setting. I hope you pick this up again someday and continue it. I would really like to see how this ends.

pls update! I can't wait to see what happened next! and keep wondering when will Eli will soon open up to Nozomi.

duuuuude although i'd say (even if im not that well versed in Love Live Universe) that Nozomi and Umi are probably the most OOC, it is still a great fic that I hole would be updated and finalised. Thanks for the fic
