I'm assuming you stopped logging on to this account, but I think this is a good concept, no matter what tone or level of writing you use for this fic.

I've got to say, I've seen Garp dropping other orphans on the bandits .. a few other Straw Hats, the Eleven Supernovas, but never Robin. Interesting, how you made it work, and brought her in with more reason than just Garp being a nut.

Even if you can't bring the same tone, as long as you are able to think and write coherently, that is something.

Ah I love Garp. "That's the Spirit! Ace don't you want to be literate?" was perfect. I also thought the scene with ace and Robin was really touching.

i liked this story very much, it was very nicely wirtten, though the premisse is as simple as it can get, the delivery is gold, i would sure love it if you would continue this story, though i guess its up to you in the end, despite the vast amount of one piece fanfiction on this site, only a little bit is actually good, the rest is just power/sex fantasies with questionable quality at best, so everytime a good story stops short it is a great loss.
but if you do ever decide to continue, there is one thing i would like to sugest, eventually they are going to the grand line, and crocodile will be there, without robin at his side his plan becomes much more dificult to acomplish, he would need another way to get pluton, and i have an idea, he somehow knows that pluton is in alabasta, but doesnt know where or how to get there without reading the poneglyph, what if he where to get a diferent archeologist, one who has some kind of skill or DF power that allows her to search things underground, and then started slowly scaning the island to look for some sort of hidden chamber where pluton might be located, there would be a lot of ground to cover, especially because pluton might even be hidden in the sea arround alabasta, so by the time the strawhats get there he would still be looking. this character could then be the new miss all sunday, and she could even fight robin!

I like this side of Robin. I always thought she was too quiet in the beginning. In the second part of the chapter she was more like the Robin we see after the time skip. Quiet but happy (and creepy). And I love love love shy, cute Ace to bits!
