Very like science fiction or like you stated AU. It is interesting because it raises a point that all of us at one time or another arrive at. What if I had chosen differently? Would the outcome be the same? Very cool. Can't wait for the last one.

I have been reading your story, and it is very good though I do get confused on what is real or not. I do find it strange that Ross never got diphtheria in both the books and both TV series so having him sick is a very interesting idea.

Is Ross sick too? This wouldn't surprise me in the least; considering how contagious Diptheria is, it's frankly somewhat surprising that Ross *didn't* get it in cannon.

Great twist, which I definitely did not see coming. And how cruel, in a "Twilight Zone" sort of way, to give Ross everything he used to want to have, just when he's lost everything he wants most desperately.

Oh my god, YES. As heartbreaking as it would be for Ross to be sick — to have Demelza save him by her presence is the most dramatic, tender thing ever. I LOVE WHERE THIS IS GOING xxxx please update ASAP xxx
