So I've just been on a re-reading spree and discovered I never actually reviewed this last chapter...which is great because now I can tell you again how much I love this story. Definitely had me chuckling away reading this but urgh Blake is so hands-y!

Love Tin-Tin taking control of a situation while also wondering how the boys - especially Scott - actually manage to make these sorts of decisions on a daily basis. But got to love Brains - he's got his own stubborn streak that I'm not sure he can just blame on the Tracys and climbing past Blake just because he could was awesome.

Such a fun story, and brilliant writing as usual.

Great story and GO TINTIN! YESSS! I've not read many stories featuring her so it was great to see her in action, she should definitely be involved in more rescues. But ugghh Blake... such an idiot, trying to pass himself of as International Rescue and failing miserably at it. He obviously hasn't the least idea of what IR stands for and definitely didn't count on them really showing up - thats why you DON'T TELL LIES. Hope Penny gives him what he deserves.

Wow, you sure tied this up beautifully, better than a big satin bow! I love how Brains and Tin-Tin never stopped trying to help, and thankfully the bomb didn't detonate, while the erstwhile "IR man" Blake caused a panic and couldn't even get himself out of danger. Fortunately the real IR Boys had the time to show up and finish clearing the scene, it's just great-especially the reactions of Tin-Tin and Alan. I love the way you got Penelope to lure Blake to his "lucky" night, that's just priceless! Thanks for such a FAB story, Bee!

Yup, Loved it! Loved Tin-Tins leadership qualities coming to the fore and I loved the look into Brains character. He's a peaceable fellow with sense of mischief of his own. Loved him climbing past Blake just to show up the faker. I wonder how long it will take for Blake to realize he's in TROUBLE? Ah, Penny. "Step into my parlor..."
All's well that ends well as they say. Especially in the lives of International Rescue.

Great story, Bee! Few people write anything focused on Brains and/or Tin-Tin, never mind something where they use their skills as members of IR. It was smart, well-written, and our heroes were kept perfectly in character. All in all, a favorite!

Looking forward to what you come up with next once your work gives you time to write.

I love the imagery here, Tin-Tin clicking along in her heels and restrictive skirt, The Vice grip Blake has on Underwood until he's of no use, then he makes a grab for Tin-Tin! Blake is just fast enough on his feet to keep from putting a foot in his mouth. Shame he's off duty. Guess the independent woman wasn't worth overcoming his fear for. Love how Tin-Tin and Brains are so active in this Danger Zone. Finding avenues of rescue and trying to formulate a way to not blow up the whole club. If only I.R would stay out of their way! Things just went from bad to worse! How will they ever save everyone in mere minutes?! HOW?

Now that I've crawled out from under my rock... Wow, Tin-Tin is on the ball, Scott could have some competition as Field Commander! Brains is going to help where ever he can. An immediate rescue of an asthma attack is no less important than their larger troubles. What an opportunist Blake is! Latching on to George and going off half-cocked. Yes, Gary, You just do that little thing. Should be interesting.

Ooh, that guy Blake is really getting on my nerves! Good for Tin-Tin for showing him up! Well, I think Jeff can afford to buy her another pair of shoes, grin. And Brains, oof. How unlucky can anyone get, changing the bomb to a faster detonation? Hoping the rest of the Boys get there really fast, or...eek! Great chapter!

This is such an awesome chapter (and yay, I'm actually doing an on-time review this time!). I love the way Tin-Tin handles Blake, and who couldn't resist a quick tease along the way, especially over his fear of heights - he walked into that one.

But uh oh... that ending is rather ominous. Let's hope John was playing it on the cautious side when he said they were twenty minutes away because things aren't exactly going according to plan in the club right now.
