Absolutley stunning story you have created!

Absolutely Great story

The bad thing about an over-powered OC compared to say another character like Harry is that we don't see them struggle nearly at all. With MOD Harry and Dark!Harry stories where he is OP, is the fact that we feel we know Harry already. Book!Harry went through some shit, and to get a Dark!Harry there always has to be ab explanation because of the facts already built around a known character with 7 books, 8 movies and a million words. A new OC does not have all of this. While I do love the concept, it just does not make for the greatest character development to allow a character without challenges to progress. Lets face it. Novel characters have terrible luck and significantly bad times, even if things get better later. Death and destruction are favourites of authors because it builds character. My philosophy with this in books is the same in life. Why is there death and destruction in life? No matter what you believe in higher powers, hurt and challenge in our life is what builds is and makes us who were are, without it we are nothing but mindless copies of one another with no sense of depth. The same goes for characters in books to make them realistic.

I cannot handle how out of character severus is in this chapter. All the previous ones were much better.

You had me untill chapter 17. That is a very OOC Snape you got going there. Sure he seems like a romantic, but in all honesty he would not warm up to someone that quickly. I would have liked to see more convesations going especially with the aunt. She plays an important part, yet her character is flat. The brief moment of the mentioning of friends left me hanging. Who are they and how are they not wondering who Snape is and where she has been?
Also, Azalea just stepped into a whole new world. She adapts quickly, but all the extra abilities shs has gives me a sence of a Mary Sue. I always liked the exact science Potions offered and it is a shame that that part is no longer an issue. I do hope there is a good explaination for all her special powers further in the story. That she would exell in one or two subjects would be great, but now it seems like she exells in everything. The whole struggle of learning and accepting would give your character more depth.
All together is feels rushed.

I will press on with the reviews as I am planning in reading further.

Thought your story was very different and nice .. But honestly Voldemort cannot be portrayed like this.. He is not understanding.. And neither is snape someone who is just a follower.. He is a brilliant character.. He would not convert for something like this.. Also James wouldn't act like that.. Neither would lily.. She's not a simpering idiot who looks to her man.. Good story.. But don't agree .. Sorry!

Okay, seriously?! This story was too good for words. Honestly. I binge read this over the last week and it's now one of my favourite Harry Potter fan fictions. I loved it from start to finish. I really wish there was more to be written (because I love Severus and Azalea), but you ended it so well that anything else feels wrong somehow.
Now I too believe Sev is living in California and is completely in love.

I love your writing. You have perfectly captured the romance between Severus and Azalea. I also truly admire the way you wrote your conversations. You wrote in enough that I never felt like I had missed out on anything but you also hadn't included every detail of small talk which meant that I never got side tracked or bored.
I love the way that you wrapped it up in the last chapter from the new Principles point of view. Also how it was about their future, not what had happened to Hogwarts because we know that bit.

Once again thank you so much for writing this amazing work, I'm so glad that I got to read it.
