This fic is AMAZING!

Perfect end!

Now that I read the whole story, there’s no doubt that this is the best Digimon fic. Every character had a fantastic arc and growth, every theme was worked well, every plot thread was solved. There were still twists and cliffhangers, and until the very last line we readers were left wanting more. You truly wrote something grand.

I wanted to write a review that better encompassed my feelings, but I find myself unable to find the words. Therefore, I’ll use simpler words to attempt to convey what I wish. The song of Love is beautiful and full of heart. Love saved the day in the end and we got a glimpse that everything would be ok. That’s the kind of story we need in the world nowadays.

Aaaahhh I can't believe I've finally finished your story! It's been so long. What an emotional roller coaster. I am in love with this final chapter. You tied up all the loose ends very neatly, and hinted that everything will be okay in the future. That is enough. :')

I am SO IN LOVE with the twist that the children wouldn't die in the Digital World! The opposite lesson that Koushiro taught Taichi in the pyramid episode. Here, Koushiro gets to reassure everyone that they will be okay. It was a cool final revelation for his character to make in the final chapter, and one that made me super happy inside because it was so unexpected!
I'm really, really happy that you implied that the Original Chosen Children survived. That's so nice.

"I watched myself die" OH MY GOD hahaha.

I LOVED the part where everyone's digivices made musical instrument melodies! The instruments you chose for them felt very perfect for the characters you developed in this story. Sora as a lovely flute, Takeru as a fun drum, Mimi as a rock guitar (ROCK OPERA VIBES), Jyou as a beautiful piano, and Koushiro as a violin! I cannot BELIEVE that I didn't see you were leading up to that violin. I love it. It is like his adoptive mother was with him in that moment, just like his biological mother was with him in his "epilogue" chapter when Haruhiko gave him that wonderful book. (Thanks Haruhiko! Maybe I can forgive you after all. And maybe, with time, Koushiro can also forgive you. Maybe. I love that you just leave it at that.)

I was so scared during the fight with corrupted monsters! Even though you promised me a happy ending, I didn't see how they were going to win that won! But I'm glad that Ofanimon finally let the song into her own heart so that she could sing once more, to comfort herself, and everyone was able to escape safely.

The fact that Seraphimon had to die again and Takeru had to wait longer than the others to see his digimon again was such a poignant touch. I appreciated that bittersweetness.

I absolutely LOVED the part where Taichi and Hikari hugged! My weakness! Yagami siblings! You even said that they would never have another falling-out. That makes me so happy inside, aahh.

And I love the hopeful feeling that Koushiro and Hikari will be able to open the digital gate again someday. That is very important! Even though you don't show it happening, I am confident they will.

The fact that Holydramon and Wizarmon were living together to take care of the Village of the Beginnings is SO CUTE. I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP SO MUCH. Even though Wizarmon dies in the anime, he and Tailmon got to spend forever together in your story! Amazing! :D

What a great ending! And I was able to read the whole chapter in one sitting :D I'm sorry it's still a mobile phone review, but I don't have internet in my computer. The ending really surprised me! Many chapters ago I thought the ending was related to Koushirou's mum and her violin. it's been a few chapters since I started to doubt that, but then I didn't know what to think, and this really surprised me! It was epic, very similar to an ending that Adventure or 02 could have, and even if Takeru and Hikari had a special place in this ending, it wasn't all about them. I think that responsibilities were well distributed, and that has been a constant since the beginning of the story, and probably a reason to write it. I really think you did a great job in giving an important place to each and every one of the characters, even Gabumon and Agumon (by the way, I remember about Gabumon but not about Agumon, what happened to him?). And, even if my dear Koushirou is your favorite character, he wasn't the center of the story, that's very good (not that there is any problem with fics focused on him, haha). Anyway, I don't have much to say about this chapter. It was a very good ending. I like endings, I know they are sad, but good too. I'm glad you were able to take this story to a definitive and great ending. And I hope you will now focus your energy in your amazing originals. THANK YOU FOR WRITING!

In my opinion, the stars of this chapter were Hikari, Setaphimon and Sora (haha), but I also think your Lilithmon is a marvelous chapter. I feel that many small things that you regretted to or used during the whole story now have a different meaning - and that's where all the conversations in this chapter led to. I can't read the last one today, but I loved this one.

YAY HIKARI IS VICTORIOUS!

There is a lot that happens in this chapter, but I'll focus first on Hikari and Lilithmon, since they are the stars! They both were overwhelmed of the responsibility of becoming a goddess. Homeostasis and Ofanimon loved Hikari and Ladydevimon/Lilithmon, but unfortunately they put far too much pressure on them, hurting them both. I'm really glad that you made that parallel between them, and that ultimately they were able to talk about their feelings. Hikari was able to apologize to all her friends, and Lilithmon was able to follow her example to finally act for her own happiness.

Beyond those two, PIEDMON! AAAHHH! MY HEART! He's very different from his character in the TV show! While the TV show Piedmon is one of the most sadistic villains, your Piedmon is a tragic romantic who lives for Ladydevimon's happiness and loves her more than anything else in the world. Even though they were both murderous villains (lol), you still made me feel really emotional about him and Lilithmon! He was so proud of her for finally reaching the Ultimate level after holding herself back! And then! AND THEN! SHE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED HIM! WHAT. HOW COULD YOU. MY BROKEN HEART. I NEVER EVEN CARED ABOUT HIS CHARACTER BEFORE. THAT IS SO SAD.

I also want to give a shout-out to Wizarmon! He was darling. And I LOVED his line where he got tired of the mushy-friendship speech, hahahaha. He and Tailmon's friendship was lovely in this chapter, the way Tailmon kept gently teasing him. It really grounded me in the midst of all this epic fighting. I love my favorite cat and scarecrow wizard so much! They are such beautiful friends!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PART WHERE EVERYONE COMPLIMENTED SORA YAYYYY!
Even if Sora failed, she tried! And I LOVE HER FOR IT!
All those little moments where she hugged Hikari and Takeru were precious, aahh. I adore Sora so much.

Also I absolutely must give a shout-out to Jyoumi and their digimon partners, because they provided some merciful laughs in this dark chapter. (Honestly, Marineangemon, I'm on your side! hahaha) They're wonderful.

Wonderful chapter. I can't believe you've finished this story. I look forward to reading the conclusion, to finally see Seraphimmon and Ophanimon reunite.

Well, its been an exemplary, emotional ride, that's torn asunder my heart more times than I can count but also granted amazing flourishes of joy, character development and insight that has truly made this a spectacular read, now its time to see how you bring it all home :)

Dang, that is some commitment from Seraphimon, then again he is on like several different time crunches right now XD Nice stuff, Takeru really shows his growth his along with Lilymon's which was great to see in both cases with them respecting other decisions even if its not necessarily what they think is wholly right and or desired by them or ackniwledging growth and change which signifies their own moving forward from past grudges and issues. Lilithmon's own take on the situation, her personal disconnection is very fitting, as is her own area of focus being her mother works well and very well laid out world building there for how the tear works!

Good on Mimi using her practical thinking skills and not being overwhelmed by despair to note that so long as he doesn't die soon they can still heal him, she's so smart, love it. Huh, wow, good points from Hikari and Koushiro, well thought out there is a real threat there despite her powers that ties in well with the lore of the series. Neat convo, yeah I can see why some distrust the spirit of the world even now, also Lilithmonm haha, you didn't need to wait for them XD

I would have liked to see Sora's talk with Ofanimon and or more Sora in general but then she is my fave so I am biased XD, but the Seraphimon chat was very solid, his confession, his pleading and her total bitter resignation, with that final raw lines about making each other miserable, wow, kudos.

guilt trip feels like a very casual world for these characters to use, but beyond that minor niggle, the actual conflict, shouting and talking passed each other is great and its a tricky situation to reach a resolution on on any convenient time frame. That "You have to be alive to be able to grow" line is really powerful in context and with the characters, as well as fitting, well said. Also I loved the cascading realizations conversation of the song, to the melodies, the noise, emotions, to Wizarmon, it all ties together so incredibly smoothly!

Everyone affirming they see Seraphimon as family and Holydramon's inclusion is so sweet, Bachou is great, love her line and the Digimon's involvement, it really feels like a collaborative effort here. Great lead out lines with Lilothmon, everyone has a role to play!

Powerfully delivered lead in line with the 'LET ME OUT!' and the descriptions of them tearing at Ofanimon, their rage and anger, dang that is so powerful and visceral and Seraphimon's desperate pleas as he tries to reach out to her, and her despair, just wow, very powerful stuff! Excellent descriptions with the songs and flow and oh gosh, major feels with the brother sister duet, such feels, such great lines!

Dang that was a fantastic exit for the cast, kind of reminds me of a reversed Tamers ending with the human partners fading from the world this time to the fear and tears and promises of their beloved partners, just great stuff, especially Sora and Takeru's lines, kudos!

Hah, Koushiro's line is great XD Also very nice conclusion with Hikari and Taichi and promising to share everything with one another, feels!

Yeees, they can still talk, great stuff with the emails, and working on a gate and Hikari having to work back her powers, it fits that she does so with Koushiro and the Digimon acting as Guardians is just ideal, like their attitude towards doing so as well! Go Mimi, create that debate club, all must hear you! Jyou has such good friends, love the image of them hassling him to relax XD Oh wow, Koushiro feels. Ooh neat stuff with Takeru and Otae, very intriguing!

Oh gosh, that meet up with Lilithmon, PiccoDevimon and I did not see reborn Devimon coming, (Good to know about Etemon as well, good on them and the other reincarnates) but wow, that call back to greeting people weaker than her, the necklace all awesome and that final lead out, that perfect final cap off line is just, aaaah, so well done, fantastic and well delivered, what a great song it was, thank you for haring this story, its been great!

And on the comments, no problem, haha, time zones are fun things sometimes, I am so glad these reviews were enjoyable, and thank you once again for sharing this story and your responses, I am glad we became friends as well, you rock!

So many amazing things happened, what a breath taking chapter! It was really nice to see Jyou and Gomamon being funny again and not so serious, lol. Hikari showed a fantastic development and her arc ended in a high note. Lilithmon was a nice surprise, I really enjoyed how sympathetic you made her and how you paralleled her with Hikari. Holydramon for life! Now, I’m going to wait for the final chapter with great anticipation!

Simplemente desde que empece la historia no deje de leerla hasta que la acabe ( ahorita tengo los ojos bien rojos xdxd) si era medio raro no ver a Yamato y a Taichi como niños elegidos, nunca me habia imaginado el desarrollo de todos sin ellos dos y fue espectacular, hermoso, emocionante, ufff sin fin de cosas.

Koushiro era mi favorito y en esta historia creo que lo amoo~~

Sora me parecia la sombra de Yamato y Taichi, creo que aqui hizo un mejor trabajo que ellos dos, era un super personaje, me encanto como la escribiste

La historia fue alucinante, nunca me ha gustado leer cosas tan largas, me sorprendi de no haberme saltado ni un capitulo, es que estaba tan bien escrito que pense que me perderia algo importante si me lo saltaba :"D

En especial lo del destino :"), los capitulos donde pasaba ese tema eran los que más tomaban mi atención y menos queria soltar mi celular.

Sorry si es muy largo el comentario, es todo lo acomulado en 45 capitulos xdxd y también Sorry por el comentario en español, no podria traducir todos mis sentimientos en inglés sin convertirlos en un mierda xdxd, serian oraciones muy cortas y sin sentido xd

OK wow, this was an excellent chapter, normally I break up my reviews by scenes but I could just not put this one down, so it definitely had a great sense of flow and strong pacing, which you usually do anyway but given we're around the climax, well :D

I really liked the recurring theme of Hikari apologizing and the different reactions she got, all show everyone's growth though its probably lucky she got to the most forgiving Mimi last for efficiencies sake XD Takeru definitely showed his growth in particular here.

Megadramon was well done, even with his own self admitted cowardice and self serving nature we can see how and hwy it formed as it did and that he did feel he had one friend, that whole "is this awkward" exchange and the recurring brainwashing gag were great as well.

Peidmon ended up going from creeper to heartbreaking this chapter, kudos there, the necklace reveal, Lilithon's reveal and reaction, his death, him taking down his old friend, the reveal of Ophanimon's plan, oh snap, so many twists in this it was sharp twists back and forth, overwhelming and amazing, all very well built up, kudos!

While I am eh on Lilithmons design, her evolution and character here was truly great, her background, her sheer dedication to her mother and how ultimately self destructive and toxic to her it had become with her mothers own plan unintentionally wounding her deeply and breaking her. Her talk with Hikari and the almost casual blunt way it ended was great and Sora is getting max respect from all involved, great stuff, loved Tailmon's talk with Hikari about not brute forcing the situation, and Liithmon's despair was powerful, ah, sorry, just, really good stuff, great stuff, kudos!

Great development for Takeru! I liked how you made him reconcile with his darkness and use it to empathize with others. Also nice to see Patamon moving forward. Poor Pinochimon! He loved his mommy so much! ;w;
