I love everything about this story, I think. I think - that Obito's depression is not overdone or cringy; that you are good at building conflict between characters without making it seem unreasonable or forced - actually, I love what you did with the plot - now that you've changed it so much from the canon, it is possible to feel the stakes of the story, because it is uncertain who will die or not - like, Kushina could have died and it would have been unpredictable one way or another. It's pretty good, to be able to have that in a fic.

I love the relationships between Akito and the others. The love is very real, and the efforts, too. I actually like that Kakashi hates her - his reasons make sense - and that Yamato is scared of her. I love Shishui. His relationship with Aki-senpai is darling - I love the ride or die friendship, the trust, the support, and the hints of more that they don't really catch yet.

I have been most intrigued by Obito's take on Shisui as a possible threat, as possibly betraying Akito. It's - it's kind of great, that I'm so invested in their friendship and love they've got going, but that there is this bit of tension thrown to the side, this possibility of -threat, betrayal, something to watch for. Even if it's not true, not possible. It's compelling.

I really enjoy all of it. I do not know if you plan to keep at it - I know sometimes we outgrow stories, or life gets in the way - but I'm crossing my fingers that you might, eventually, feel like continuing.

Not gonna lie, I was expecting Akito to bust into that meeting shouting "POISON!", after having thought through the events thoroughly.

What a lovely story! I enjoyed reading about Akito and her playful and sincere antics. Your characters feel fleshed out and even the minor ones are really entertaining to read. Your writing makes me lol and has an easy flow. I like it!

Hey! I know there are more chapters after this I have yet to read still, but you mentioned in the author's note at the end that you felt a little unmotivated and were worried people may not like your story, and, well, I couldn't just not say anything. Yeah, you write stories so you can share them, but ultimately, it's what you write, what you want to happen- and sometimes stories just happen, almost as if they write themselves when you make your characters good enough. Don't worry about pleasing readers and just write the story you want. That being said, I can assure you that, as a reader, I do enjoy this story so far immensely. It's interesting and, more than that, you've made me actually care for Kabuto of all people, one of the very rare Naruto characters I can actually say I hate. I never thought I'd like him, yet you worked a miracle! And I adore Akito and your writing. As a writer myself, I know that balancing between keeping yourself motivated to write and worrying about keeping a reader's interest is hard. So I thought I'd just remind you that this story is yours and that, as you write the story you want at your own pace, there are plenty of readers that love that story, whether "more exciting stuff" won't happen until she graduates or not.

This chapter had me bursting into ugly sobs in front of my mom- who was peacefully watching cute puppy videos. She was torn between comforting me even though not knowing why the heck I was crying, or ignoring my tearful outburst and continue watching her current entertainment. The part where the children all come together and defended Aki-chan was just really, really touching. My heart hurt so bad from containing my emotions until I could no longer hold it and proceeded to cry my heart out. But also, I had to laugh at the part where she just likened herself to Mulan in saving China xD my mom was at the point on whether calling a priest to exorcize whatever demon insane enough to possess me was worth it since I was crying at first then laughing like a nut-job the next with tears still streaming down my face. I'll admit I was not a pretty sight to see during the roller-coaster ride that this chapter- or more like this story gave me.

Just wanted to say I love this story. It’s one of my favorite SI stories. I hope you’re healthy and doing ok; it’s been awhile since we’ve heard from you.

Let just start by say great work but I had to stop read half way through chapter 13, not because of something I don’t like but because the poisoning of kushina hit way too ode to home. The slowly loosing her mind the... it took a long 7 years for my father Bain cancer the take him. I would love to keep reading but this... I just need to know before continue if your story if she dies, or she lives? I’m sorry it just hit way too close close to home

Honestly loved this story! I wonder why she hasn't unlocked her Sharingan yet... I would have thought that the boiling water would have been the catalyst. :/
