Awesome! I love this, and I kind of hope someone- maybe you, maybe not- will see this idea and run with it some day. It stands alone, but you know audiences- we always want more, hm? I think this is well put together.

I was worried at first that Kaito was becoming some evil monseter. My favorite part was when Hakuba realized It was Kaito.
It's sad that you aren't continuing this; it would have been a great mid-length story to watch Kaito remember his traumatic past and what he meant to his detectives. Oh well...you have a lot of other great stories I'd like to see you continue, and you only have so much time.

Are you sure that was 5K? Cuz that didn't feel like 5K. I think it needs at least another 60K (that wasn't the number I meant to type but that's what my keyboard chose apparently) to make it actually 5K XD
