I really enjoy this fic, I'm always rereading it but each time sadden that it was abandoned. I like finding fics that center around videl and shows what she capable of. I think been awesome if videl was introduced earlier on in similar fashion to krillin in original db, her hearing of master Roshi and various martial artist from past tournament she through the announcer and sought master Roshi out. Though krillin end up being one to train her, possibly around the cell arc finished

Re reading for what has to be the millionth time. This and “Burden of Lies” are the best two fan fictions I have ever read!

Awwee! Don't stop now. What happen next for Videl and Gohan? Did Videl get Korin's water? How long did she trained with Master Roshi? What happens between Gohan and Hercule? Please come back and add more chapters? This story was just getting good.

Use "said" more often, it's easy and often the reader'll filter it out subconsciously. Whenever you use another word - like "noted", "remarked", or "muffled" (which isn't really adequate as it should've been a qualifier of how Gohan's voice was, rather than how he's talking) - you drag the reader's attention to the manner of speaking.

It can be useful when indicating something important, or sometimes to add variety. But using that method all the time just makes reading a bit more tedious; just look at Harry Potter: "Snape!" ejaculated slughorn. Or something along those lines.
