You gotta feel SORRY for the "heroes" of your story if they can't even handle getting horny! High-school is gonna be ROUGH on them! All vilgax would have to do, is send a hot female alien after Ben and he'd HAVE the watch! ROFL. (Gwen would be too busy wrapped up in why she was jealous to stop her).

Angst has it's place (usually in stories where NOBODY IS TRYING TO KILL THE PROTAGONISTS) but angst really doesn't have ROOM in ACTION stories, the heroes have NO TIME to "sort out" their feelings and their "gut-instincts" are what keeps them alive! Ben ESSENTIALLY has the UNIVERSE as enemies.. Bad-guys that WANT the watch for themselves and "good guys" that want to protect it from danger and think he's not worthy or wanna duplicate it for the "greater good"... Either way he's got ONE (single) ally... If he's also sleeping with her? SO WHAT? Isn't that a "pump up" for Anodites? (big one for her and small one for him since he's part one.. )

He DIDN'T see her naked.. He saw her PARTIALLY naked... A towel is clothing.. I mean, have you EVER been to the beach? swimsuits for girls/women are JUST ABOUT naked, and everybody's FINE being in public with those on! A "wardrobe malfunction" with people that live together in a CAMPER is NOT that big a deal. If it gets him THAT hot and bothered then he's a lot deeper issues then an oops. (and if she gets that mad, then there is SOMETHING ELSE going on).

Warriors (especially of the opposite sex) often feel these things toward each other, think about it, they are CONSTANTLY saving each others' lives..(so constant reciprocal feelings of gratitude), Constantly relying on one another in REAL LIFE-OR-DEATH situations, (so a the building of a TRUST and a FAITH in each other), exposed to adrenaline-pumping situations regularly, plus they are OFTEN physically impressive, each in their own right. It's completely NATURAL. Add in imparted feelings of "love" and friendship, before the battles begin and (add in the moral justification on both parts that they are doing "good") WELL... Your really only EVER gonna get to one conclusion. ... A "MATCH forged by aries, or mars, or kratos or thor", or whatever your pick of GODS OF WAR.

Except gwen WASN'T a witch, she wasn't even HUMAN! Kinda makes sense if you think about it (spells just being a FOCUS to the energy abilities) and it gives FURTHER evidence to bwen.. I mean if she isn't EVEN HUMAN then blood ties is KINDA a relative thing isn't it? (Andotites don't even HAVE blood). Well that, and Ben 10,000 cast an energy shield so he isn't exactly HUMAN either.

If they were siblings? That would be kinda... Hinky, if their fathers were identical twins? That would also be kinda (yuck)... But they're not.. They are cousins... And not human, so I don't see the problem. (heck with all the dna altering Ben's had done, he might not be "familial blood" to ANYTHING anymore) and the kevin/gwen thing? It was just plain DUMB... THE WHOLE premise and the small fact that THEIR NOT EVEN THE SAME SPECIES!

Well to all bwen people, I can say we were RIGHT, it WORKED in the original ben 10 (enough that it carried for 3 movies, multiple video games, a crossover and THREE series), they added kevin? AND HAD TO REBOOT THE SERIES! Gwen and Ben had the "spark" (ever notice ultimate alien usually did everything it could to SPLIT up the team every chance?.. Because it NEVER MADE SENSE!)

There should be a longer version, a whole fic dedicated with chapters... it would even work with sending just Ben back in time over and over like ground hog day, but over a summer and maybe more... over and over... he'd get wiser too... all while carrying the forbidden love... or maybe he even develops it over time!
