When I saw how few reviews this had, I knew I had to put my two cents in. I haven't read your other stories, but I love the world you created, and how easy it was to understand just from this short(ish) story. You clearly put an insane amount of though and effort in creating the alternate M16 timeline for John, and that amount of passion from an author is inspiring, especially because it clearly worked out so well. I appreciated that Mary wasn't evil in this fic. Not that I don't hate Mary, but it was definitely a nice change of pace. I loved how the Homeless Network was portrayed, and I loved that John was like an undercover doctor, that was lovely. But most of all, I LOVED the idea that John knew about Sherlock being alive, and that they interacted from time to time, but avoided acknowledging the situation. I wish there were way more fics like this. Yours was extremely well written, I think a few misspellings and grammar errors, but overall it was fantastic. And Mycroft being confused and out of the loop is priceless. Thanks for a great story!

Hello, I wanted to tell you that your story was wondrful. It's very hard to find good Sherlock - or rather Johnlock - stories and this one captured my heart. I really like how you got to see how amazing John truly is. It's truly maginficence, no lie.

For a minute there I was thinking of the poetry that Treebeard said in the 'Lord of the Rings' movie "Come back to me".
