Thank you for this story and thank you one more time for writing the final chapter. The original ending left me so sad while chapter 10 implies that there is still hope for those two to be somewhat together.

Chapter 5:
I can add one more reason to your list as to why Neo would have much harder time against Ren than she did against Yang - it is a possibility that partial reason for Neo's trademark smirk is that she's using it to taunt and provoke her opponents, the same applies to some of the actions she took while fighting Yang. As useful as such mind games can be for someone who focuses on counters this would just not work on Ren.

Interesting...very interesting...

So one issue is that Neo is short, but from my knowledge, not so short that she'd be about the height of Ren sitting crosslegged; it's minor, but it stood out. After seeing the justifications, I'll accept your rendition of Ren, but think it would be better if he did more communication through grunts and short vocalizations, with a long phrase or two for the sherlocking. It would mix well with Neo's silence. Anywho, thanks for writing , I enjoy the story.
