I found your story a couple of days ago, and if I haven't experienced the kind of emotion that leave you without knowing 'what on earth do i do now' after reading a fanfic... believe me, I have now.

That was... it felt... it's just... I cannot put it into words: their first encounter, Haru's backstory, the romance, the loneliness, the desperation and the ending, it was all too much. Personally I ship this couple more than myself with Rin (and that's too hard to confess) and for the first time I have found a fic about them, that made my heart clenched like hell in every frickin' chapter.

It's needless to say that I loved everything from beginning to end.

OMG this was just sooooooo sweet I can't even... Oh my, it had me squealing and giggling and "awwiwing" all the time!

I like that you started directy with a time lapse and we got to see what happened when Rin took Haru home in a flashback because I believe it gives as the chance to see Rin's feelings in a "calmer" way, without the whole ruch he surely felt at the time.
Rin letting Haru his socks sounds just so absolutely cute for some reason. I have a thing for the whole "wearing boyfriend's clothes" stuff, so Haru wearing Rin's underwear, Rin's hoodie and Rin's socks as shoes sounds so very sexy to me and incredibly sweet at the same time!

I'm glad Rin's family welcomed Haru immediatly and with such kindness. Knowing how much Rin suffered without Haru, it would have been so sad if they hadn't accepted him easily. And Rin's mum buying haru the bathroom caddie was so nice of her. That scene with haru going in the bedroom holding the caddie and kind of speechless was so beautiful. I can see him clutching it tightly and playing with its strings and it's so adorable.

Their time alone at the beach playing their pebbles game was just so funny and they totally gave a happy and cheerful vibe and I enjoyed a lot seeing them like that. It was just so endearing and beautiful...

I really love the idea of Haru working as a swimming teacher. To be honest, I've never seeing him having suh a job in any fic, so it felt kind of new and refreshing! And Haru not understanding why he had to work was a nice, funny way of showing how little he understands about our world, poor him.
I loved the cat going to Haru and Rin thinking he might still smell of fish on a feline level LOL

And ok, the lasr part with haru's necklace was the finally blow. I was officially killed by the cuteness of it all, and especially for the whole deep meaning that something as simple can have for two people with such strong feelings for each other.

The last line was just so perfect.

In general, I can say that this is a really, really, really good story. Top-notch writing, I'm just so in love with your style, honestly. Perfect characterization, which is sometimes difficult when writing AUs. Detailed descriptions that don't get boring at all. Slow-building relationship but not snail-paced, you can keep the interest of your readers. Moving romance, and sweet friendships. And some parts have been so touching that have moved me to tears. I had already added this to my list of Favourite fic and you can be sure that I'm going to add you to my list of favourite authors.
And you have wrapped it up perfectly, the ending was everything I could ask and hope for.
"Fish boy" is just awesome and wonderful and right now I'm cursing my lack of English vocabulary because I can't find a word to describe it that can actually do justice to how much I liked it. 10/10
