I've only recently been acquainted with Miss Fisher's murder mysteries on Netflix and naturally I've been addicted to the series ever since as well as completely hooked by Phryne and Jack. I just wanted to let you know I've enjoyed reading your story very much. The plot is brilliant and you're a very good writer!

I loved the way you wrote about Orpheus telling Lolly what had happened when she was born. A lovely ending to a wonderful story.

The image of Janey...poor Phryne. No wonder she needed to compose herself. It would seem that Louise knew she was adopted...how? Looking forward to finding out.

I read this in a hurry before I go to work and this chapter is so powerfully written with heartfelt emotion, it spoke to my heart. It's a story about that crimson thread of love that binds people together, it's just beautiful. It's a journey of longing and hope for Orpheus, he finally met his long lost daughter and to Phryne, Louise looks like the reincarnated Janey, this is just wonderful, missphryne. You know how to make my day! I'll reread it again later. I enjoyed and loved this so much. "Are you my birth parents?" Oh, I'm excited to read your next update. Thanks for sharing!

This is the first I've read of this story. I'm going to have to catch up. Very interesting and inspired. I love the Phryne as a child angle and that backstory. Also, her brother. How clever you are!

Poor Phryne, battered and bruised but their lovemaking was so tender and beautiful. It was lovely.

So, so lovely. Bathing and being washed by Jack surely takes some beating. Phryne will be OK now she is in the bosom of her family.

That was some ordeal for Phryne; so pleased Orphie came in time. A lovely scene at the end.
