while reading teaches pov and his possessiveness you got the feel of maybe theres more to this due to calling ace a masterpiece etc. but teach romantically interested in ace feels wrong noyt just in the he is bad for ace kind of way but its not in character for teach either rather than a creepy love interest he gives me vibes like the celestial dragons. teaches attitude towards people is very much like the celestial dragons in how he veiws ace as a possession (or prize as you said), teach is motivated by his dreams and is power hungry and ace is naturally always been strong due his bloodline (pirate king, both parents have the will of D) and the weird circumstances of his birth. ace is talented and teach saw this and wants to use it. i love the way you characterised everyone in this au, both teach and ace are accurate and marco and the crew hurts because of the distance between ace and them especially hearing whitebeard encourage and used ace's self worth issues to recruit him (i kinda agreed they shanghaied him into it but its worse hearing it this bad after the fact) thach seems to care alot still about ace so bless him. this fanfic is great; all i can say is i love it, well done to the author.

As for your reason for writing I could totally relate. To have a what-if you think is so good that it just sticks itself in your head, and that let-down feeling when you look for a fanfiction similar to it and it doesn't come up on the official achieve or resent submissions. I'm glad your a fan writer who writes for you, I'm glad your a fan-writer who writes to get others into a topic too.

This was another good chapter with Marco's point of view. It has been a while since you made a chapter so I thought you ended the series or something. Anyways thanks for your opinion on my idea.

OH MAN DO I LIKE THIS STORY. I love reading a somewgat-psychotic Teach that has this... obsession with Ace. Not to mention Ace is my favourite character...

I'm curious and excited to see how you go with this. I know it's snippets and such but really, those could tell a story too and god I just. Want to know what happens. Is Sabo going to show up? I mean, he only really remembered because Sakazuki is Akainu's real name and that means Sake Cups, so that makes me worried.

There are so many ways you can go with this idea. If (when?) Ace joins to protect Luffy, Luffy will definitely know something's up and how Whitebeard and the crew reacts to it is entitely up to how you perceive him and others since we have minimal info on them to this day.

Ack, so sorry for my jumpiness and errors; mobile and hyperactive mind. I really, REALLY lime this story and I'm giddy everytime it updates.
