I ADORE this idea

I quite liked this. It gave some dignity to an otherwise ridiculous name, and a good foundation to the yet-to-be canon. I liked their backgrounds, and what influenced their decisions, seemingly such small incidents like a butterfly's wings...

I can't help but laugh at Godric's excuses! 'Scratching his horse' with a stick... wow. Love Gryffindor's attitude. And also that particular take on Slytherin's attitude that's neither evil nor dark. Certainly fits his image, even if most people believe Slytherin to be a pureblood bigot. Thanks for these extras!
