U wrote the ending perfectly. And I love how Wally turned to his uncle Hal. I understood everything. It’s easy to see why Wally didn’t tell anyone. And as he said. He isn’t a victim cos he didn’t think it was a crime at the time he honestly and still honestly thinks he deserved it.
He knows he’s messed up and he’s admitted to that.
It’s easy to see how and he explains why he doesn’t want to mention it to anyone. He doesn’t want the Pitty and doesn’t want them to think of him as broken or damaged.
I’d love u to write more a sequel. But I love what you did with this. U wrote it and ended it perfectly. Ur writing is sheer perfection and really explains what an abused child may be dealing with and what their thought processes may be. It really did feel very realistic.

Honestly u wrote it so well. Wally’s whole thought processes. And what he told Hal. And just everything Hal agreeing with him. Wally really thought of everything. I love the line where Hal says Wally’s a secret bat. He really does act like a bat member the way he worked everything out as his thought processes.
It’s really written well.
If u do one day do a sequel that would be amazing. But it’s an incredible book now.. Thanks
