Nice job on this chapter, and the confrontation between Kanan and the assassins was great, should definitely keep Kanan from interfering too much in the canon plot.

I know that Kanan is learning and improving in self-defense and close combat, but what about Chi-Blocking? That could come in handy for Kanan, and there are benders who learn Chi-Blocking, with Amon being the most prime example.

Would Korra noticed Kanan's expression when he sees Asami with Mako so that she teased him?

It's good to see this up and running again, I never gave up hope. It's certainly an interesting to see things getting tense between the twins, they're relationship is definitely my favorite part of the story. I love that Asami is training Kanan in hand to hand, it's makes for an excellent catalyst for their friendship to grow. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Out of curiosity is Cardmaster discontinued? I ask because I thought it was really good.

This seems like an interesting fanfic, though I'm kinda surprised that humor is one of the genres, as the humor mainly simply surrounds Kanan looking like a girl.

If Kanan had passed his Earthbending and Firebending tests, shouldn't he then be a master of both elements?
I know that he is more gifted in the spiritual aspects of being the Avatar rather than the physical aspects, but one of the requirements of being the Avatar is being a master of an element before moving onto the next one.
Meaning he should be a master of Earthbending and Firebending.

Can Kanan the more advanced bending abilities, like Metalbending, Lavabending, Lightningbending, and Combustionbending? Not to mention Energybending, especially seeing as Kanan is supposed to be exceptionally Spiritually adept.

While I know that the main focus is that Kanan is more spiritual than Korra, do you think that Kanan could learn the rare and powerful specialized bending sub-skills, like Metal-bending, Lava-bending, Lightning-bending, and even combustion-bending?
I would also suggest Blood-bending(and even the psychic variant used by Amon and Yakone) but it's illegal and something tells me Kanan would be more reluctant to learn such an ability after dealing with Amon.
The Avatar(or Avatars, in this case) are supposed to masters of all the elements, but Korra and the previous Avatars never learned such rare and powerful bending abilities.
It could help Kanan stand out from previous Avatars.

This might seem like an extreme idea, but do you think that when Harmonic Convergence takes place, Vaatu could possess and fuse with Kanan?
During the initial confrontation between Kanan, Korra, Unalaq, and Vaatu, Kanan could confront Unalaq while Korra distracts and holds off Vaatu.
Kanan manages to beat Unalaq and take his bending away(or possibly kill him), so Vaatu goes after Kanan instead, who is a powerful master of all 4 elements and an exceptionally spiritually attuned human.
By forcibly possessing and fusing with Kanan, Kanan becomes a new Avatar, possessing both Raava and Vaatu, with Vaatu being initially in control or at least manipulating Kanan during Harmonic Convergence.

It's unique, right? Kanan would then be a whole new type of Avatar, possessing both Raava and Vaatu, along with all their powers. Light and Darkness, Peace/Order and Chaos. A "Balanced" Avatar, unlike any before.
And it has never been done before in FanFiction.
Give it some consideration.
