This is lovely! I like the way that he realises he's in the wrong but can't stop himself and then he gets all churned up about how to put it right. Every marriage has moments like this and you portray it so well. I really felt for Elsie too -you had me there as I thought she was crying not laughing! X

Well, I LOVED IT. I can totally see it happening, him trying to change little by little to accomodate to her presence in his life. Great job!

A lovely little "what might happen" scene! I have to admit that I've really enjoyed this series and the fanfic that has resulted from the BTS that they've released each week. And this little scene is one of my faves! I was getting myself as wound up as Charles as he flexed his fists and his little heart clenched at the thought of having hurt her feelings...and then to have the wind taken out of my sails to find Elsie laughing at herself! A true delight! Thank You!

I LOVED this! What a beautiful picture you painted of marital, ehm...bliss? And I loved the old script lines you wove in, especially "You misunderstand me, Mr. Carson." I can see Elsie using that as her go-to line whenever they disagree, with both of them appreciating where it originated. Thank you SO much for writing! :)
