I can describe this fanfic in only one word. Fantastic. I’m in love with the way you wrote it, one thing though. Add more emotion. Obviously, you did put lots of emotion, but try to add more of Hades’ and Demeter’s as Persephone’s were shown probably the most.

I have read your entire story between today and yesterday. I've always held the story of Hades and Persephone close to my heart, regardless of it being unusual and daunting. This was a beautiful, poetic interpretation of them. I was able to picture scenery, facial features and so much more all inside my head the more I continued to read on. As a person who is also passionate about writing, I wish it never ended. Thank you for the beautiful piece of literature.

Persephone is one of my favorite Greco-Roman goddesses because she seems to perfectly personify the duality of my personality (I'm a bit on the gothy side but I also like flowers and plants and traditionally girly things) and so I actually do like the pairing of Persephone and Hades because all things considering, they are very complementary of each other. The writing is very beautiful and the characters feel real and tangible. That being said, I was a bit disappointed that this retelling of their story fell into some of the same "abduction as romance" tropes that ruffle my feathers (making another character comparably worse to the captor (i.e. Ares) so that their actions seem less problematic; captive doesn't hold captor accountable to the point that the captor will actually apologize for his behavior, etc.). Maybe if the story was a bit longer to add some more depth to some characters and their relationships to one another, some of these cliche could have been avoided, as the pacing did seem rather rushed toward the last third of the story especially. I liked how Hades and Persephone's relationship began and that the twist to the tale could have been her willingly running away with Hades rather than her being kidnapped, but getting to 25 chapters is a feat not easily accomplished, and we all have are reason for making a fic longer or shorter. In conclusion, while I felt that this story fell short in some areas, I don't regretting spending my free time of the day reading this!

Loves this story. A very true depiction of the story of Persephone and Hades. Most try to fluff it up, and I do genuinely enjoy those, but it was nice to find such a well done story that kept some of that darkness inherent with the rulers of the underworld. Very well done! :) Thanks for sharing!
