MUCH better ending!

I know I've read this story before and while the prior story ending with the Hermione/Ron pairing is good, I like this one better. It is still enjoyable to me after all this time though I would love to read a Harry/Hermione pairing story if you wrote one.

I think I've never seen someone use the word "insouciance" beforehand.
Really like your stories but they remind me a tad too much of the huge gap between my own school english and the "natural" vocabulary of an (educated) native-speaker.
Please continue the good work.

Oh, I do love this ending! What a wonderful conclusion to the previous story. Loved both, but I admit that I was much happier seeing Hermione with anyone but Ron.

I'm so glad you revisited this. the alternate ending is something that really shows some growth. not only is it difficult to recover from infidelity, she needed to address the reasons for it. why Ron wasn't the one she wanted. why she didn't send flint away and have Ron with her when she was the most needy. the marriage law was almost an after thought

I was heartbroken at the end of ‘Disarranged Marriage’.
But this made up for it a million times over!
