I am guessing that the Strategist Palpatine is referencing is Thrawn. I am hoping that Thrawns fate is different here.

Thrawn was always unique, he was not actually loyal to the Emperor from what I understand, he was more of an ends justifies the means individual, he was willing to work with the Emperor despite what the emperor was in order to prepare the galaxy for the Vong invasion. I do not deny that towards the end of his life his fear at what the Vong could do to the galaxy had caused him to loose much of his morality, but I think if someone had been able to give him a different option (a way out as it were), that Thrawn would have taken it. Considering that this is decades earlier when Thrawn is a much younger and presumably more idealistic man, maybe harry could be that third alterative which he would eventually take.

Not right away of course, because I like the idea of Thrawn having a dual of intellects with both Harry and Garm Bel Iblis, but as Palpatine slowly reveals more of his true colors perhaps Thrawn could decide that Harry's new government is the better course and defect. Then we could see a dual of intellects where Harry, Garm, and Thrawn are all on the same side fighting against both Palpatine, and presumably the Vong themselves when they finally enter the picture, I must say that would be a truly magnificent sight to behold.

At Envy; and do what, throw rocks at them? Change their hair colour? Hey, maybe apparate and have his memories wiped? While id personally like to see the kid gut them, I far more enjoy these non-edgy fics where the main character eventually finds the strength and chance to move on with his life and becomes not just great but good despite of the abuse. So much better.

He beats Harry daily leaves him permanent scars but he isn’t mad?

Why is Harry just letting them do this stuff to him?

Interesting chapter, I can't wait to see how the Tyrant's Bane vs this confederate force sent after them goes. I love Ahsoka's interactions with Harry and Aayla, I can totally see her forming a sibling bond with Aayla and teasing her at times.

It was glorious to see GDL punching back at Confederacy attacks and either winning or holding their own.

I sincerely hope this gets continued and finished. I love the concept, the pairings, all of it. In a way I want to see Anakin not fall to the dark side for once, but it seems that might be a moot point due to his obsession with Padme and his jealousy of Harry.

There's evidence that Watto beat and 'molested' Anakin in the shows, and comics.

I think the character profile for Anakin is a bit off, it mirrors Attack of The Clones, and The Clone Wars, more than it does Phantom Menace, or really what an abused child slave would act like. I've worked with troubled children before, you're looking for a more demure, eager to please, scared to death to fail, not trusting, lack of confidence, and a completely warped self-image. It was in the order, the separation and expectations placed unto Anakin that made him arrogant, that and his friendship with Obi-Wan; rather than what should have been a mentorship. Basically what I'm saying, is that Anakin is just a tad bit OOC.

Hmmm, maybe I stand corrected.

This is going to be a Harry vs Vader fic, isn't it. I can practically taste the author's hate for Anakin as a character.
