I think I'll ship this as Shikaku x Sakura shishishi! Just once, I'll let such a HUGE age gap pairing for me to like happen. Their chemistry is good, Sakura with her mind age can keep up with Shikaku. And let's face it, Sakura is basically an adult in a child's body. I mean, you can literally SEE and FEEL it unlike other adult SI OCs put in a child's body since most degrades their SI to the mindset of the child. Unlike in your story, you did not do it. You realistically gave the situation a good portrayal of how an adult SI OC would do in a child's body. Shishishi!

As for other pairings for Sakura...well... until you decided a different pairing in the late chapters I'll try and see if I'll like it or not shishishi!. Except for Shikamaru x Sakura. Can't see that happening since their relationship is like a Mother-Son one.. for me that is.

Sakura ia becoming less and less likable. She's knowingly a traitor to her village now.

You started this story with Sakura being able to read people extremely well. And it's progressed to the point where you even have Sakura admit she can't read people for shit. Can't tell lies, isn't detecting the notes of emotion in the voices or body language, she's completely oblivious.
While overall I like your story . . . I don't understand why you have her get worse with practice.

This is a very interesting concept! You'd think it'd be easier to read a story about someone from our world who didn't already have the manual to life in their hands. Can't wait to read more!

Part of me would have been fine with the protagonist dying here. Because it wouldn't do anything, essentially this was pointless. The protagonist is completely unimportant to anything in the story and only tangentially important to the in story political climate. Martyr of what? Peace? Plenty of people have died for peace and plenty more have died trying to secure it. Her death would do nothing, just has her life has done nothing.

I admire the way you humanise all characters.
Their easy acquiescence does seem a little odd, though. While you masterfully rationalise their decisions, I would be curious to see true opposition - and perhaps the main character coming out on top in spite of this. Or not. A failure is character-building, after all.

The distrust you depict within Konoha is very realistic.
You have made me curious about the meaning of the nicknames she receives.

A little bit OCs in Shikamaru's character.

Its confusing how you write the narration. I know that you attempting to write a POV of the characters, but still, is weird and confusing. You should just keep the third person point of narration. The dialogue of Shikaku and Shikamaru was hard to decipher who was the one talking. You should just keep this wayWhen Shikamaru give her a small smile, Sakura's face lights up and she too, smiles." If I guessed correctly, it was Shikamaru talking right?
This part was quite confusing too! I did not know who was talking in the beggining "He runs a hand through his hair, looking at the board, at Sakura, at me, around room..." It was phrased in such a complicated way. The first two chapters were better. You should keep writting in that style instead. But the story and plotline are marvelous though.

Anyways, it was a piece of advice since I pretty much liked your story!
