Heartbreakingly good

T_T! you had me crying and cheering and so so upset/happy and all the emotions at once the ENTIRE chapter. I love all their POVs. I love how in character all of them are. I love Alex. He is all kinds of awesome. I love Cristina. How she just didn't have time for all the bullsh*t, not Thatcher's and not Derek's. and I love that she gave Lexie credit; that Lexie didn't miss it when everyone else did. I love April's backstory. I love how you tied in that notebook/diary bit. I must confess that I didn't like her at first(well, for a long while actually, probably until season 7), but I felt bad for what Lexie did and I loved that you showed us how she made amends. Lexie isn't perfect but I think how she made up for it here is my headcanon now. And she would have made up for it. I just remember Lexie telling that patient that the part 'after' is what matters, the part where you make it right.

I love Bailey. How hard could it be to be in her shoes. Have all of her interns be under her knife. Have Callie who she probably started internship and residency with under her knife. Losing Gorge. Losing Izzie. Losing Meredith. They're her babies.

I love Arizona and Callie. I love how Callie was just right there supporting Arizona and Arizona apologizing for being impossible.

And that scene with Meredith! that was soooooo beautifully written that I could actually see/imagine it happening and I'm just bawling throughout that!

And really, Thank God Addison Montgomery was there. I could just imagine her panic then. And Derek and Cristina in an OR is something I would have like to see more in canon. Also, Is Lexie a Neuro fellow? I forgot to ask that the last chapter.

I’ve just recently discovered this fanfic and I have to say it’s one of the best I’ve read, it’s seriosuly edge of your seat stuff. Your are an amazing talented writer and I really can’t wait to find out how this ends. Loved Meredith telling Lexie to Run such a good throw back to season 3 with Meredith and her mother.
