I've read around 8 chapters so far. To me, the plot is less 'Beauty and the Beast' and more Gothic romance (without the status-destroying family secrets).

I love how you're incorporating elements of both the original Grimm's fairy tale and the Disney version. My only thought is that this might work better with the ninth Doctor who could regenerate into the tenth at the end. Nine was the grumpy angry one and Ten was happier.
