I don't have proper words to describe how brilliant this story is...

Just an IsekaI writer chapter 19 . 7/25
...What the fuck is wrong with you...
cuisinart8 chapter 19 . 7/23
This is one of my favorite stories of yours, I think. It's a lot different from some of my other favorites- blockbusters like NTTF or Relic- but that's part of what makes it stand out. The way you write Cinder in this is incredible, and honestly I think I appreciated it more the second time around. Being able to see all the little ways in which Cinder lies to even herself about her feelings made the ending that much more tragic, as it was painfully clear that she did love Jaune, as much as she wasn't willing to admit it to even herself. The ending especially was excellent- the fact that you managed to make such a one-dimensional for teh evulz character like Cinder even slightly sympathetic is phenomenal. Your characters and the excellent way you write them, as always, make this story shine.
Aselo chapter 19 . 7/17
No one cries over ozpin because he's fine although I don't know if you know that when you wrote that authors note
Aselo chapter 9 . 7/17
I find it mildly amusing that you mentioned understanding girls "at that age"...it doesn't get that much easier imo..somewhat I suppose but not too much
ChampionOfTheHearth chapter 19 . 7/12
This makes me want to hate you a little. But that just speaks to how good it was. Loved it.
Zeta Grey chapter 18 . 6/26
I forgot to write this but: P.S. Also, that would be a good idea for a sequel... ghost Cinder following them, (mostly Jaune) after death.

who know's where that could go.

Thanks for the ride~ :)
Zeta Grey chapter 19 . 6/26
Dammit... No... Damn... I was also kinda hoping Mercury would try something or whatever...

But I guess Cinder Falls here eh? that sucks, that really really sucks... Damn.

Makes me wonder what could have been, given the chance... a tragedy indeed. :(
Teddy chapter 19 . 6/25
Damn, this really made me cry.
Hopefully you can make a story where Cinder and Jaune have a happy ending or something happy and not tragic, but I don't see how it could be like that.
In chapter 18 I gave to listen to "Soul of Cinder" of Dark Souls III and practically cried so much that no more tears came out.
Right now I am in depression and I really want a story of this couple with a better ending.
Guest chapter 19 . 6/25
I really would like to see short story of point of view from RWBY and the rest of team JNPR, on how they saw Jaune and Cinder.
Guest69 chapter 19 . 6/17
Fuck. Cinder didn't deserve to die. But I guess that a happy ending was impossible for her too. Was kinda hoping against hope that Cinder would somehow be able to convince Jaune to her side, no matter how meager the chance. Nevertheless the story was amazing as usual, heartaching and heartrending in all the right ways. Thanks for the read.
Bigwolfwings chapter 19 . 6/10
Every time I read this it just get even more sad every time. Very good story!
Guest chapter 19 . 5/31
The story was great. Out of all the very few Jaune and Cinder stories there are, this one is the most realistic, heart warming, and tragedy story.
Pandanator333 chapter 19 . 5/31
Absolutely fantastic! This was my second read through of this fic and I'm just as impressed as when I first read it. Weirdly enough, I think it had more of an effect on me on my second read, even though I knew what was going to happen.

The use of Cinder as the protagonist, as well as the unreliable narrator in this is just incredible, and truly makes this story shine. Cinder's characterization was wonderful - I love the way you write her (if only she was this great in the actual show.. *sigh*).

I loved many, many things about this one, Coeur, and I'd say it's definitely become my favorite work of yours. Again, amazing job with this one.
elglyphis chapter 19 . 5/27
