How the twins aren’t quite sure what to make of this scene unfolding in their lobby. A wee bit of his protective nature coming through here. And her acknowledgement of his power... oh my god, the tinglies. THE TINGLIES ARE OVERWHELMING.

“Yes," he rumbles, "you have me." AHHHHHHHHHHHH! *SCREECHES* oh, Lena. Did you hear me from across the world? OH. MY. CHEESE. TOAST.

OH LENA! Stop you naughty naughty thing! “... while wondering what it'd feel like if he rubbed his coarse, stubbly cheek on my belly.” Lady, you’re magnificent but you’re also killing me here.

“I'm baiting him, smirking like I'm trying to win him into my bed. I suppose that I am.” HERMIONE!

Oh. The dialogue. The brilliant beautiful sexy dialogue. I want to just strip the words off the page and wrap myself up in them. I just want to print off the entire story, cut up every line, continue to do so until it fills an entire room (or maybe a small closet; I am not patient), and then just sink into it. Breathe in the words as I sink to the floor through the paper (alas, we were not all gifted with a whippish figure). It would be a very good afternoon spent, if nothing else.

Poor Snape! Worried about being gangly. We love you just as you are dear Severus! Better to wrap legs around your waist! *gasp* Who said that? And oh good gravy basically that entire conversation about liking how they other looked caught my blankets on fire.

And how you end it with “He was satisfied.” Which makes sense at the end — since I know how it ends — but oh man, isn’t that so delicious? That his plot worked and made her literally lose her mind for a quick moment as she BRAZENLY SNIFFED HIM IN PUBLIC.

Oh. Hermione. You have it bad.

Oh the sexual tension is on point here.

This bit: “And you?" he asks softly, his eyes darting between me and his work. I am flattered by his attention; it isn't often that Severus breaks his concentration.

Easily steps us into this one: “I was only jesting," I say carefully. "You know I would have never gotten anywhere without your help."

“I could say the same," he remarks.

Which then in turn smacks us across the face with this: He would consume me, I think.

I think this is my favorite because your lyrical, sensual writing style is so very clear here. Maybe it’s the first person. Maybe it’s the subject matter — smells are intimate by nature. Maybe it’s a combination of all things.

It’s like your words float out of my screen and caress me. And that’s literally something I wrote in my notes as I was compiling my gift to you. Something to keep in mind as I wrote for you. You do it so well — so seamlessly — it’s almost like you leave your readers floating behind you, on a sea of your written language.

Also? Your Snape here is sexy as hell and I just want to devour him.

This one, when I first read it, just tickled me so well in all the sweet spots I have for SSHG. Working together, banter, a lot of UST... oh it’s like heaven on my screen. Also! Both twins are alive!
