I like this chapter and I think that Ozpin Is kind. Any Headmaster should do the same thing In his place.

I felt like you overextended with the chapter. You could've just expelled him from the academy and be done with it, but no you had to banned him from all other schools and prevent him from getting disablity.
Hell, I'm surprised you didn't end it with having everyone in the school getting to carve there name into Jaune body just to rub it in.

This may be me, but jaune doesn't seem like the type that would just give it up altogether. canon jaune would've been more persisted in achieving his dreams of becoming a a huntsman, no matter the odds stacked against him. I still don't get why he never received training from his parents or sisters in the first place? Was is because they feared for his life, or are they just wanted to piss jaune off? Anyway good chapter so far. I hope to see what ruby and penny is up to by the next chapter.

Warning: Angry Rant

You better make him awake his semblance and it better be a healing one, because frankly i believe you are making him accept this too damn fast, also they could use the fall maiden power to heal him, after all its mean to be used to keep balance and part of balance is healing, heck what frustrates me the most is that THESE PEOPLE freaking live in a world were certain individuals can use the powers of their souls for protection and guess what HEALING, yet they cannot find a cure for this? FUCK THAT!.

I also noticed what you did last chapter with penny and ruby and NO, FUCK NO! you know how bad prosthetics are? it will mess up with his health in time!, no WHEN Jaune heals his injury (NOT IF) it has to be done either by his own semblance (that for some reason is still unlocked) or the fall maidens power. Seriously by the mid-to-last part of this story he HAS to be healed OR AT LEAST have begun the process to a TOTAL RECOVERY and around that time something HAS to happen to allow him to enroll to Beacon again in HIS SAME TEAM.

Okay now being serious you really need to find a way for him to be fully healed (i don't know what, i just hope it is not prosthetics) and find a way to make him become a huntsman again, because being completely honest i always have found the whole thing a about "one door closes, another opens" to be nothing more than pure horse shit, i mean all our lives we are told that we can be whatever the hell we want as long as we give our best to get it, and now you are telling me that after giving my all i STILL cannot achieve it and what's worse probably never will because of something out of my control?, yes you may all say "life is never fair" yeah I KNOW THAT already, but what if the person in question STILL tries to get what they want, and what's better they ACHIEVE IT AGAINST ALL ODDS, wouldn't that be more meaningful than simply giving up?.

My point with all of this is that i do not think that you should make Jaune give up that easily, you should make him fight to get better until he is able to achieve his dream. Also i want to point out some things that you should take into consideration and that i think should by brought up in the story.

1. Why didn't Jaune get ANY KIND of combat training from his family?, from what i gather neither his parents nor his eldest sister gave him any training and THEY KNEW he wanted to become a huntsman, yet still they never truly supported him, why?, i hope that Jaune himself brings this up in the future because from my point of view his parent's and his sister's negligence in giving him training and preparing for the live of a huntsman, makes them as guilty for Jaune's condition as Banesaw and Ozpin, the former by breaking his spine and the later with is Carelessness about the white fang and the fall maiden. and talking about Ozpin...

2. Ozpin let Jaune enroll into Beacon for a reason and its not about his potential as a huntsman, no he NEEDS Jaune for a reason, he saw something in him that make him valuable in his eyes he wouldn't have risked it with his transcripts otherwise, need i remind you who else did he bend the rules for? RUBY! and what did Ruby ended being? a Silver Eyed Warrior one of the few people that are able to counteract a maiden's power, he didn't recruit Ruby because her abilities or potential as a huntress, that was just an extra bonus, no he recruited her because of her silver eyes and the power they have, he NEEDS her to stop Salem, that's why he let her enroll so he could help her develop this power while keeping her safe, and if you analyze it its the same for Jaune, granted he hasn't showed any particular "unique" or "special" ability but for what other reason would Ozpin have let him join?, i'm SURE that many others had already tried to forge their transcripts to get into Beacon yet still Ozpin rejected them after all he does mention he knew they were fake meaning that he has already deal with this kind of thing before so why Jaune's case is different?.

3. Continuing from this point Ozpin KNOWS how to heal Jaune in the first place, heck he has had the means to do it since the start, the "Fall Maiden's power" as i mentioned before the role of the maidens is to help keep balance in the world and part of said balance is the power of healing, and considering that the maidens are one of the most powerful beings on the face of Remnant its not outside the realm of possibilities that the power of a maiden could heal him. Also now that i remember it Ozpin kept talking to Ruby about a "miracle" that could potentially heal Jaune as long as she never gives up on him, this is suspicious specially since it comes front a man that KNOWS that fairy tales and legends are real since he deals with them almost everyday.

4. This is a separated point but still related to the whole "Ozpin problem" and is also a thing i found inconsistent in your story, because he encouraged Jaune to get better as in a "do not give up your dream" kind of way, but now in this chapter you basically made him do a 180 turn by telling Jaune to "move forward" which basically means to give up, WTH?!, i mean you are sending mixed signals to us, i just hope you don't make Jaune give up.

And that's all i wanted to say, also let me please make clear that i ACTUALLY truly mean what i wrote in my rant just please take it as a suggestion instead of a demand because that was not my intention i only wrote it that way because i really like this but i got very frustrated with some things and needed to take out that frustration in some way, again sorry for that and sorry for the wall of text i may have gotten carried away. ;)
