Omg I'm sobbing now... Jareth... It was beautifully written, though. I felt the pain of all the characters, especially Sarah. I feel so bad for their children now.

Since this was a one-shot, I have to ask... whodunnit? I am reading "As The World Falls Down" and I am probably wrong, but knowing know how their marriage in that story ends, I'm wondering if Callum was behind the assassination. I know it'a only been two chapters but I get the feeling he would snap after years of watching Jareth continue on the same path. And he seemed very cold and uncaring, walking out just as Jareth was about to collapse... Yet he wouldn't want to get his hands dirty, so he hired an assassin and gave him some kind of magic to be able to get into Jareth'a rooms. Am I kind of in the ballpark?

HOW is there not many reviews on this?! This was so beautiful, yet so heartbreaking... The writting was incredible and neatly written. God, I think I'm crying now...

I really like this story! I could just see the blood spilling from you-know-who's neck. What it reminds me of most is the end 'Stardust', where in the end, the Queen must take the throne without her King, and it's powerful but every bittersweet. Anywho, Sarah a ascension to the throne reminded me of that. Great job!
